The platform covers charging operations, billing, payments, station management, integrations, mobile applications, and operational tooling.\nWe are expanding our Web Services Development Team and looking for a Software Engineer with hands-on experience in building AI-powered tools and help evolve the ChargerSystem platform.\nThe role\nYou will become part of the Web Services Development Team. Your primary focus will be developing and improving AI-powered tools, agents, and integrations built around ChargerSystem MCP.\nThis is a product engineering role: you will work within an established release process, contribute to platform development, and deliver production-ready functionality together with the team.\nWhat you’ll own\n\nAI-powered tools and agents\n\n• Develop and maintain ChargerSystem MCP tools and AI-powered workflows;\n\n• Build AI agents, tool-calling scenarios, and internal automations;\n\n• Integrate LLMs with ChargerSystem services in a secure, reliable, and observable way;\n\n• Improve agent context handling, structured outputs, retrieval/RAG scenarios, and user experience;\n\n• Turn operational needs into practical AI features that can be safely used by internal teams.\n\nEngineering process\n\n• Participate in prioritization, code reviews, testing, and releases;\n\n• Work within the team’s established release and quality processes;\n\n• Investigate issues in production and contribute to reliability and observability improvements;\n\n• Take part in the ongoing technical evolution of the ChargerSystem platform.\n\nTechnology stack\n\n• TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS;\n\n• MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch;\n\n• NATS, WebSocket / Socket.IO, BullMQ;\n\n• AWS: Cognito, S3, SES, SQS;\n\n• Docker, Kubernetes, Argo CD, AWS ECR / CodeBuild;\n\n• Jest and Node.js test runner for unit and integration tests;\n\n• Git, code review, CI/CD, and established release workflows.\nWhat we’re looking for\n\nRequired\n\n• 3+ years of commercial experience with Node.js and TypeScript;\n\n• Strong experience with NestJS, REST APIs, integrations, and asynchronous processing;\n\n• Hands-on experience with LLMs, AI agents, MCP, RAG, vector databases, or related AI integration solutions;\n\n• Understanding of authentication, authorization, RBAC, and secure API design;\n\n• Experience with unit and integration testing;\n\n• Ability to work independently while following established engineering and release processes;\n\n• Strong ownership: you deliver working solutions, not only prototypes or technical proposals.\nNice to have\n\n• Experience with distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and AWS;\n\n• Experience in EV charging, OCPP, OCPI, IoT.\n\nWhat you get\n\n• A core role in a product team building AI capabilities for a real
