You will build trusted relationships, identify opportunities for growth, manage performance against agreed targets and ensure our clients receive an outstanding service at every stage of their journey.\nWorking closely with our Head Office departments, national field sales teams and managers, you will connect client expectations with operational delivery, balancing commercial objectives with practical realities to achieve the best possible outcomes.\nIf you are confident managing demanding, high-value clients, comfortable interpreting data and passionate about turning insight into action, this could be the ideal next step in your career.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nAs our Senior Account Manager, you will take full ownership of your client relationships and campaign delivery, with responsibilities including:\nBuilding exceptional client relationships: Act as the senior point of contact for key clients, managing day-to-day queries, resolving issues and proactively identifying opportunities to strengthen partnerships and develop accounts.\nDriving commercial performance: Monitor campaign performance against KPIs, targets and commercial objectives, ensuring that client expectations and business priorities remain aligned.\nDeveloping account strategies: Create and maintain strategic account plans, identifying opportunities for growth, improvement and long-term success.\nLeading client meetings: Plan and lead regular status meetings, quarterly business reviews and ad hoc discussions, ensuring clear communication, effective follow-up and agreed actions.\nTurning data into insight: Analyse campaign data, prepare accurate reports and present performance insights, successes, challenges and emerging trends to inform decisions and influence future campaigns.\nManaging projects from start to finish: Develop and oversee detailed project plans and timelines for campaign launches, internal initiatives and other projects, taking accountability at every stage through to delivery.\nOverseeing campaign materials and processes: Ensure client literature, imagery and other campaign materials are fit for purpose, and develop a thorough understanding of our sign-up systems, technical solutions and business rules.\nManaging expectations and resolving challenges: Act as the first point of escalation for campaign-related issues, providing clear recommendations and balancing client needs with operational requirements and commercial performance.\nForecasting and planning ahead: Provide clients with reliable forecasts, anticipating potential challenges and identifying factors that could affect campaign delivery.\nWhat we’re looking for\nWe’re looking for someone who combines excellent relationship management skills with commercial awareness, analytical thinking and a strong sense of ownership.\nYou will ideally have:\nProven experience managing high-value accounts and demanding client relationships.\nExperience developing and implementing strategic account plans.\nStrong commercial acumen, with the ability to protect business performance while maintaining positive client relationships.\nConfidence analysing data, interpreting performance trends and producing clear, insightful reports.\nExcellent communication, presentation, influencing and negotiation skills.\nStrong project management skills, with experience taking projects from initial planning through to successful delivery.\nExperience within fundraising, field sales or a similarly target-driven environment would be advantageous, particularly if you have worked closely with operational teams and understand the importance of balancing client expectations with delivery on the ground.\nWhy join Charity Link?\nAt Charity Link, successful client partnerships are built on trust, collaboration and a shared commitment to delivering results.\nAs our Senior Account Manager, you will play an important role in shaping client relationships, improving campaign performance and helping our field teams succeed.
