Your impact begins on day one, and your contributions will help define our future in the region.\nWhat you have\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field and 2+ years of progressive experience in software development and engineering, including hands-on coding and solution design or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. \nExposure to modernization initiatives, such as API development, microservices architecture, or cloud-native platforms. \nExperience working in Agile/SAFe environments, participating in SCRUM teams and iterative delivery. \nWorking knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation for improving delivery efficiency. \nAbility to collaborate with stakeholders and align technical solutions with business objectives. \nSolid understanding of API design and integration, microservices, and distributed systems. \nFamiliarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). \nBasic understanding of security best practices, performance optimization, and platform health. \nProficiency in .NET technologies, including: NET Core / .NET 6+ for building scalable applications. \nC# as the primary programming language. \nNET Core for web services and RESTful API development. \nEntity Framework Core for ORM and data access. \nExperience with relational databases, preferably SQL Server. \nExposure to microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). \nFamiliarity with cloud platforms (GCP or PCF preferred). \nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly.\nPreferred Qualifications:\n4+ years of progressive experience in software development and engineering, including hands-on coding and solution design. \nExperience contributing to modernization projects, such as API development, microservices, or cloud migration. \nHands-on exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). \nFamiliarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools. \nWorking knowledge of security best practices and performance tuning for scalable applications. \nProficiency in .NET technologies, including: .NET Core / .NET 6+ \nC# for application development \nNET Core for RESTful APIs \nEntity Framework Core for ORM \nExperience with relational databases (SQL Server preferred). \nExposure to Agile/SAFe methodologies and collaborative team environments. \nIndustry certifications that demonstrate technical depth and continuous learning, such as: Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect (or working toward certification) AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate\nWhat’s in it for you\nAt Schwab India, you’re empowered to shape your future.
