You will develop enterprise CI/CD capabilities, create reusable automation, modernize legacy delivery solutions, and improve the developer experience using GitHub Actions, cloud technologies, and Infrastructure as Code.\nYou will work across development, security, platform engineering, and production support teams to troubleshoot delivery issues, improve platform reliability, and integrate security and governance into software delivery.\nWhat You'll Do:\nCI/CD & Delivery Pipeline Platform Engineering:\nDesign, develop, and operate CI/CD solutions using GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Actions.\nBuild reusable workflows, composite actions, pipeline templates, and automation.\nAutomate build, test, security scanning, artifact management, release, and deployment processes.\nSupport modernization and migration of legacy delivery capabilities to GitHub-based solutions.\nAdminister and enhance platforms including GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, JFrog Artifactory, and related DevOps tooling.\nDevelop automation using Python, PowerShell, Bash, JavaScript, or similar technologies.\nBuild self-service capabilities that reduce manual effort and improve developer productivity.\nReliability & Production Support:\nProvide production support for critical Delivery Pipeline services.\nTroubleshoot complex CI/CD, build, deployment, integration, and platform issues across multiple technology stacks.\nPerform root-cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive improvements.\nBuild monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and operational capabilities that improve platform reliability.\nSecurity, Modernization & Developer Experience:\nPartner with application teams to onboard workloads and remove delivery friction.\nCreate reusable standards, documentation, and automation that simplify software delivery.\nSupport secure development practices including code scanning, dependency management, and pipeline security.\nExplore GitHub Copilot and other AI-assisted engineering capabilities to improve developer productivity and delivery automation.\nWhat you have\nRequired Qualifications:\n5+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, site reliability engineering, software engineering, or a related discipline.\n3+ years of hands-on experience developing or supporting CI/CD solutions.\nHands-on experience with GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Actions, including workflows and delivery automation.\nExperience developing reusable GitHub Actions, workflows, or pipeline components.\nExperience with Python, PowerShell, Bash, JavaScript, or a comparable scripting language.\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar technologies.\nExperience supporting Azure, AWS, GCP, or comparable cloud environments.\nStrong troubleshooting, problem-solving, production support, and incident-response skills.\nAbility to collaborate and communicate effectively across technical teams.\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience migrating CI/CD workloads from Jenkins, Bamboo, Harness, or comparable platforms.\nExperience with platforms such as JFrog Artifactory, SonarQube, LaunchDarkly,\nExperience with observability tools.\nExperience with cloud-native deployment and automated platform provisioning.\nExperience supporting enterprise-scale developer platforms.\nExperience with GitHub Copilot or other AI-assisted software-development capabilities.\nAbility to contribute to improvements in secure, scalable, and reliable engineering practices.\nApplicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship.\nIn addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.\nWhat’s in it for you\nAt Schwab, you’re empowered to shape your future.
