You’ll help modernize platforms, improve reliability, and deliver experiences that matter-while growing your skills and career along the way.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDesign, build, and enhance scalable full-stack applications that support critical workplace and retirement services\nModernize legacy systems to improve performance, resilience, security, and compliance\nDevelop and integrate APIs and foundational services that enable faster, safer partnerships and platform evolution\nImprove platform stability and reliability through thoughtful design, testing, and performance tuning\nApply AI-assisted development tools to improve development efficiency, code quality, and team workflows\nCollaborate closely with engineers, product partners, and stakeholders to influence technical direction and outcomes\nContribute to a culture of mentorship, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement\nWhat you have\nRequired Qualifications\n6+ years of professional experience in full-stack web application development; BS/MS degree or equivalent experience.\nDemonstrated ability to design and develop full-stack web applications using modern development practices\nProficiency in C# and .NET Core for building scalable backend services\nStrong capability with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to deliver responsive, accessible user experiences\nExperience building single-page applications using modern client-side frameworks such as Angular and TypeScript\nAbility to design, create, and consume RESTful APIs\nWorking knowledge of relational databases and SQL, including integrating backend services with data stores\nExperience applying unit testing practices and patterns to improve code quality and reliability\nUnderstanding of secure application design, including authentication and authorization concepts\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly across teams\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience modernizing legacy applications while maintaining stability and performance\nFamiliarity with performance evaluation, tuning, and observability in distributed systems\nExperience with web accessibility standards and inclusive design practices\nKnowledge of Agile and Scrum-based development environments\nExposure to AI-assisted development tools and practices\nIn addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.\nWhat’s in it for you\nAt Schwab, you’re empowered to shape your future.
