The team focuses on improving search relevance, performance, and user experience by leveraging modern cloud-native architectures, microservices, and intelligent data processing. The team operates in an Agile environment, collaborating closely with product, architecture, and business partners to deliver client-centric solutions and drive continuous innovation.\nAs a Software Developer - Sr. Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end full-stack features within the Search platform. This role focuses on building scalable applications, improving search relevance and performance, and working within established architecture while adopting modern engineering and AI-assisted development practices.\nWhat you have\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in computer science or related field\n4+ years of full-stack development experience\nStrong expertise in Angular, JavaScript, C#, .NET Core, HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs\nExperience building microservices and cloud-native applications\nExperience building Single Page Applications using Angular or similar frameworks\nKnowledge of relational and NoSQL databases and performance optimization techniques\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and Agile methodologies\nStrong problem-solving ability, communication skills, and ability to work across distributed teams\nHands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools and exposure to AI and machine learning concepts\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with search platforms\nExperience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure\nFamiliarity with Splunk or similar monitoring and observability platforms\nFamiliarity with test-driven development, behavior-driven development, and modern testing frameworks\nExperience in financial services or regulated environments\nAdvanced experience integrating AI and machine learning capabilities into production systems\nKnowledge of prompt engineering, automation frameworks, and intelligent workflows\nIn addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.\nWhat’s in it for you\nAt Schwab, you’re empowered to shape your future.
