The role will require a high level of responsibility and accountability.\nThe AWAT Technology Operations organization contains two teams that specialize in one of the following areas: database support or IT asset management. This role is on the IT Asset Management team which requires strong Linux and Windows system administration skills combined with a strong customer service approach.\nWhat you have\nRequired Qualifications\n3+ years of progressive experience supporting Linux and Windows infrastructure throughout its lifecycle\n3+ years of experience troubleshooting and resolving technical issues that affect live applications\nExperience supporting applications in production and non-production environments\nExperience restoring services, addressing disruptions, and supporting secure, stable releases\nAbility to apply analytical thinking and problem solving to complex architectures, technical constraints, and operational issues\nAbility to prioritize compliance, security, scalability, and production resiliency when making technical decisions\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related experience\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience using DevOps practices and automation to improve infrastructure support and operational outcomes\nExperience establishing, monitoring, and reporting operational performance metrics\nExperience with release management, release engineering, and business application components\nKnowledge of public cloud services, web services, middleware, operating systems, databases, networking, security, and business intelligence\nExperience partnering with Agile development teams\nExperience designing and improving operational processes\nAbility to evaluate complex information, anticipate potential consequences, and recommend practical solutions\nStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to provide stakeholders with clear information for decision-making\nCustomer-oriented approach to infrastructure and application support\nAdaptability and continuous learning when working with new technologies and changing priorities\nIn addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.\nWhat’s in it for you\nAt Schwab, you’re empowered to shape your future.
