Your impact begins on day one, and your contributions will help define our future in the region.\nAs an IAM Sr Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in securing Charles Schwab’s enterprise identity ecosystem by supporting authentication, authorization, and privileged access services that enable secure access for employees, contractors, and business applications. You will work closely with engineering, operations, cybersecurity, and application teams to troubleshoot complex identity issues, improve service reliability, and automate operational processes. If you are passionate about cybersecurity, automation, and solving technical challenges in a collaborative environment, this is an exciting opportunity to grow your IAM career\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide operational support for enterprise IAM platforms, including authentication, authorization, single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), privileged access management (PAM), and directory services. \nInvestigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents related to identity services while meeting defined service level agreements (SLAs). \nMonitor IAM infrastructure, perform root cause analysis, implement preventive measures, and participate in on-call support rotations. \nCollaborate with application teams to onboard new applications, troubleshoot access issues, and ensure adherence to enterprise IAM standards. \nAutomate repetitive operational tasks using scripting or automation tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort. \nParticipate in system upgrades, patching, maintenance activities, and production deployments. \nMaintain operational documentation, knowledge articles, and standard operating procedures. \nKnowledge management and mentoring junior resources \nSupport security audits, compliance activities, and access reviews by providing required operational evidence. \nWhat you have\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline. \n6-8 years of experience supporting Identity and Access Management or enterprise infrastructure platforms. \nHands-on experience supporting one or more IAM technologies such as: \nPing Identity \nSailPoint \nBeyondTrust \nMicrosoft Entra ID (Azure AD) Active Directory \nStrong understanding of authentication and authorization protocols including: \nSAML 2.0\nAuth 2.0\nOpenID Connect (OIDC)\nLDAP\nKerberos\nExperience troubleshooting production issues across Windows and Linux environments.\nWorking knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and basic scripting using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.\nFamiliarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or Jira.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills with demonstrated experience supporting production environments. \nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting enterprise IAM platforms in financial services or highly regulated industries. \nKnowledge of Zero Trust security principles. \nExperience working within Agile or DevOps environments. \nExposure to cloud identity services on AWS, Azure, or GCP. \nUnderstanding of identity governance and lifecycle management concepts. \nRelevant certifications such as: \nCISSP \nCompTIA Security+ Ping Identity certifications \nTechnical Nice-to-Have \nExperience with FIDO2 and passwordless authentication \nKnowledge of certificate-based authentication and PKI \nExperience with Kubernetes and containerized IAM services \nFamiliarity with HashiCorp Vault or secrets management platforms \nExperience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions \nExposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Ansible) \nExperience with Splunk, Dynatrace, or other monitoring and observability tools \nKnowledge of SQL and relational databases \nExperience integrating IAM solutions with cloud-native applications \nFamiliarity with API gateways and identity federation \nUnderstanding of Non-Human Identity (NHI) management and machine identities \nExperience using automation frameworks to improve operational efficiency \nExposure to AI-assisted operations (AIOps) or AI-enabled security tools\nWhat’s in it for you\nAt Schwab India, you’re empowered to shape your future.
