Your impact begins on day one, and your contributions will help define our future in the region\nWhat you have\nOrganization / Role Description\nWe are looking for a Tech Lead with good working experience as a Full Stack Java developer to join our Corporate Technology team. In this role, you will design, develop, and support scalable enterprise applications that enable Treasury Operations to effectively manage the organization's liquidity requirements. Working in an Agile environment, you will collaborate with business and technology partners to deliver innovative, reliable, and high-impact solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive on solving complex challenges and taking ownership of their work while advancing their careers.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign & Implement - Deliver well-architected, production-ready features and components across the full stack using Java, Spring Boot and Angular \nSolve Complex Problems - Independently tackle ambiguous, high-difficulty technical challenges across frontend and backend layers with minimal direction \nTroubleshoot & Debug - Diagnose and resolve deep technical issues in distributed, enterprise-grade systems; provide root cause analysis and long-term fixes \nCode Quality - Produce clean, testable, maintainable code across all layers of the stack; participate in peer code reviews and uphold team engineering standards \nCollaborate Effectively - Partner with technical leads, architects, and product owners to refine requirements and deliver within Agile sprint cycles \nContinuous Learning - Stay current with evolving technologies, frameworks, and best practices; apply new knowledge to improve existing solutions.\nRequired Qualifications\nDegree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. \n10+ years of hands-on full stack software engineering experience with strong proficiency in Java 17+, Spring Framework, Spring Boot on the backend and Angular on the frontend. \nGood understanding of Microservices , RESTful APIs and distributed system patterns. \nExperience with event-driven architectures or messaging platforms such as Kafka, RabbitMQ \nExperience working with RDBMS systems like MSSQL, Postgres along with data modeling exposure. \nExperience with component-based UI development, state management, and Angular best practices. \nExperience with cloud platforms PCF or GCP and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) \nWorking experience with AI agents and skills to run AI Driven Development Lifecycle. \nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and DevSecOps practices. \nExperience working in Agile/SAFe delivery environments. \nStrong customer focus with a sense of ownership and determination to drive solutions in a collaborative environment. \nIdentifies opportunities for process improvements and implements creative solutions. \nConducts in-depth analysis, evaluates factors, and influences decisions with insights. \nProvides guidance to peers and aligns work with business goals. \nAnticipates consequences of situations and acts to prepare for contingencies in assigned tasks. \nStrong analytical and debugging skills across multi-tier applications \nAbility to effectively interact and collaborate with all types of stakeholders, both technical and business, peers, and leaders. \nStrong problem solving and critical thinking skills. \nAbility to quickly grasp complex concepts and learn new technologies. \nProduces work that meets or exceeds quality expectations \nPresents ideas confidently with good verbal & written communication skills. \nGenerates effective QA testing solutions that boost operational performance and product integrity \nExperience with Selenium/Cucumber or any BDD Driven Automation frameworks.\nBackground in financial services industry or regulated/high-availability environments, particularly in liquidity management, cash movement & collateral management. \nWhat’s in it for you\nAt Schwab India, you’re empowered to shape your future.
