Your impact begins on day one, and your contributions will help define our future in the region.\nWhat you have\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide at least three core duties of this role\nParticipate as an active member of an Agile Scrum team, leveraging tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitHub, and Copilot to deliver high-quality software solutions.\nDesign, develop, test, and support full-stack applications using technologies including C#, SQL Server, Angular, TypeScript, JSON, XML, and RESTful APIs.\nDevelop and maintain automated workflows and data integration processes using Control-M, Informatica, Snowflake, and proprietary platforms.\nProvide production release oversight, application support, and Level 3 incident resolution to ensure the stability, reliability, and performance of critical business processes and daily operations.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nTechnical Expertise and Educational Requirements\nA university degree from a well-respected academic institution, and/or other professional certifications \nare a plus.\nAt least 5 years’ experience developing enterprise class applications using .NET and C#, particularly \ndistributed and Cloud applications.\nFull stack development experience including C#, SQL, Angular, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, XML, \nREST, SOAP, etc.\nAt least 5 years of experience working in Agile Scrum.\nStrong ability to design, code, and debug applications in various software languages.\nProven record of delivering technology solutions within agreed timeframes.\nExperience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices, tools, and \nautomated deployment pipelines.\nExperience or knowledge of database design and development (SQL and NoSQL)\nParticipate in and contribute to technology architecture designs to future proof platforms and reduce \ntechnical debts.\nKnowledge of software design patterns and ability to apply them to the right use case scenarios.\nBroad and deep knowledge of IT/software technology & trends, domain knowledge and experience in \ninfrastructure support, application development, and database admin. including client/server, webservices, portal, middleware, operating systems, databases, networking, security & business \nKnowledge of Asset Management Front Office including Portfolio Management, Trading, Order \nManagement System, Optimization.\nPreferred Qualifications\nTechnical nice-to-haves\n2+ years of experience in Fixed Income portfolio management and trading processing including optionally Separately managed business workflows.\nKnowledge of python and optimization tools like Gurobi is a clear positive differentiator.\nProduct Experience of Investortools Perform, Aladdin and other well-known Order Management Experience with TDD & BDD is a plus.\nA commitment to high ethical standards and integrity, demonstrated through action.\nEffective communication skills, with exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation skills\nHigh-energy, positive, entrepreneurial in spirit.\nPurposeful and results driven.\nWell-organized and disciplined with high mindfulness.\nDirect, plain-spoken; conveys a genuine and authentic demeanor.\nConsiderable experience transforming teams through technology, organization, culture, process, andbusiness change management.\nAbility to work effectively within the Agile Scrum framework to inspire and motivate all levels of staff towards both tactical and strategic delivery goals.\nOutstanding performer, persistent and pro-active leader, detailed oriented, and driven to exceed\nJob Sub-Family Specific Competencies\nSoftware Development - Implementing standards, processes, and methods to create, test, and verify software components, ensuring reliability and resolving operational problems and bugs\nSoftware Release and Deployment - Managing the deployment of software updates while ensuring compliance with safety, security, and quality standards\nStrategic Thinking - Analyzing an organization’s competitive position and developing a clear and compelling vision of what the organization needs for success in the future\nSystem Design and Architecture - Implementing concepts for system design, ensuring compatibility with cloud architectures, and utilizing adaptive approaches for lifecycle models and methodologies\nAnalytical Thinking - Approaching a problem by using a logical, systematic, sequential approach\nAttention To Communication - Ensuring that information is passed on to others who should be kept informed\nWhat’s in it for you\nAt Schwab, you’re empowered to shape your future.
