We are driven by our purpose to champion every client's goals with passion and integrity.\nThe Managing Director, M&A Integration is an enterprise leader within Schwab’s cross-enterprise Transformation Management Office, accountable for converting the strategic intent of acquisitions, separations, and partnerships into disciplined execution and measurable value for Schwab, its clients, and employees.\nAs the single point of accountability for integration success, this leader aligns senior executives on strategy, governance, operating model, and execution. The role directs complex, multi-year work across Technology, Operations, Finance, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Human Resources, Corporate Strategy, Communications, and business units-resolving enterprise tradeoffs and delivering critical commitments. This leader owns integration budgets, manages synergy targets and realization, oversees delivery of internal & external integration milestones, and manages cultural integration of acquired firms. In this highly visible executive role, building trust and relationships to bridge across teams is critical.\nThe initial portfolio will focus on Forge Global Integration and Forge Trust Separation. In parallel, the leader will also establish a durable enterprise integration capability through reusable playbooks, rigorous governance, and a high-performing team positioned for future transactions and priority transformations.\nMeasures of Success\nDeliver transaction commitments responsibly and on schedule-from deal announcement to Legal Day 1 to employee transitions, client migrations, systems integration, and stabilization.\nRealize committed revenue, expense, strategic, and operational benefits within approved investment parameters.\nMobilize leaders and teams across Schwab and acquired companies to plan and execute integration activities, including clear accountabilities, decision rights, and visibility into progress, risks, dependencies, and decisions.\nBuild trust with acquired-company leaders and employees, successfully bridge organizational cultures, and deliver an employee experience that supports engagement, continuity, and a successful transition to Schwab\nAnticipate and mitigate material client, employee, financial, operational, regulatory, technology, and reputational risks.\nStrengthen enterprise readiness through repeatable integration and separation capabilities.\nBuild a high-performing team that develops enterprise leaders and preserves institutional knowledge.\nKey Outcomes\nIntegration Strategy & Governance\nSet the integration or separation strategy for acquisitions, divestitures, partnerships, and other complex transactions.\nEstablish the operating model, team structure, governance, decision rights, execution standards, and escalation paths required to deliver transaction objectives.\nTranslate executive commitments into an integrated, multi-year roadmap with clear outcomes, milestones, ownership, and success measures.\nMaintain enterprise accountability for execution, decisions, risk, and value realization.\nTransaction Execution & Business Readiness\nDirect end-to-end integration planning and execution, from deal announcement through Legal Day 1 through employee transitions, client and product migration, systems integration, operating model implementation, stabilization, and decommissioning.\nOrchestrate cross-enterprise dependencies, sequencing work and holding leaders accountable for commitments.\nAnticipate barriers, frame options, and accelerate decisions that sustain momentum.\nChampion the acquired-employee experience throughout the integration, partnering with Human Resources, Communications, and change leaders to ensure employee perspectives inform integration decisions and to deliver a thoughtful, coordinated transition experience.\nFinancial Stewardship & Value Realization\nOwn the integration budget, manage investment process, make decisions on investment opportunities and resourcing requests\nPartner with Finance and business leaders to define, track, and deliver the transaction business case.\nUse transparent measures and disciplined reviews to close performance gaps and drive corrective action.\nRisk, Regulatory & Operational Readiness\nIdentify and manage risks to clients, employees, financial results, regulatory obligations, operational continuity, and Schwab’s reputation.\nEstablish mitigation and escalation plans that bring consequential decisions to senior leaders at the right time.\nPartner with Legal, Risk, Compliance, Audit, and regulatory teams to secure approvals and demonstrate readiness.\nRepresent the integration program in regulatory discussions.\nExecutive Leadership & Enterprise Alignment\nAdvise and align Executive Council members, senior leaders, and acquired-company executives on strategy, investment, operating model, risk, and execution.\nResolve competing priorities and frame enterprise tradeoffs requiring shared investment and accountability.\nCommunicate progress, outcomes, risks, and decisions with clarity and candor in executive forums and broad employee forums.\nServe as a visible and trusted leader for Schwab and the integration, with trusted relationships and influence across Schwab and acquired companies\nEnterprise Capability & Team Leadership\nInstitutionalize integration and separation playbooks to strengthen readiness and retain lessons learned.\nBuild scalable tools and operating routines improving execution quality, transparency, and speed.\nLead and develop a high-performing team of integration professionals and future enterprise leaders.\nStrategically manage team capacity, deploying integration talent against priority enterprise transformations during lower-demand periods and rapidly scaling capacity through internal talent, hiring, or external partners as transaction needs increase.\nWhat you have\nRequired Qualifications:\n15+ years of progressive leadership across transaction integration, separation, enterprise transformation, strategy, operations, technology, consulting, or a related discipline.\nProven success leading large-scale integrations, separations, or enterprise transformations with measurable business outcomes.\nExtensive people leadership and organizational development experience, including high followership and demonstrated ability to manage team capacity in a fast-changing environment\nDemonstrated executive-level influence and a record of driving shared accountability across complex, matrixed organizations.\nAbility to convert strategy into integrated plans, timely decisions, and sustained results.\nStrong financial acumen spanning large budgets, business cases, synergy commitments, investment tradeoffs, and value realization.\nExperience leading significant client, employee, technology, operational, regulatory, and organizational change.Exceptional judgment, risk management, problem-solving, negotiation, and executive communication in ambiguous environments\nDemonstrated success building high-performing teams focused on
