Working across the full software development lifecycle, you will design, develop, test, deploy, and support scalable web applications, REST APIs, data integrations, and AI-enabled capabilities using .NET technologies.\nYour work will improve application performance, engineering productivity, and the quality and reliability of solutions supporting critical business outcomes. You will solve complex production and integration challenges, identify technical risks, and make thoughtful design decisions in a fast-moving environment. Success requires close collaboration with product, architecture, security, and engineering partners across Agile teams. You will also help improve development practices through code reviews, automation, technical guidance, and responsible use of approved generative AI tools.\nWhat you have\nRequired qualifications\n5+ years of application development experience, including coding, debugging, refactoring, testing, documentation, and code reviews\n3+ years of experience with SQL, relational databases, and SQL Server\n1+ years of experience developing or integrating REST APIs\nProficiency developing client-side and server-side applications using .NET\nExperience developing and troubleshooting full-stack web applications\nExperience with Git-based source control, including branching and code merges\nExperience applying Agile Collaboration within the software development lifecycle\nAbility to apply Problem Solving and sound technical judgment to complex, time-sensitive issues\nExperience using approved AI-assisted development tools or Generative AI capabilities to support coding, testing, documentation, or solution delivery\nPreferred qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline\nExperience with Angular or another single-page application framework\nExperience with SSIS or other data integration and ETL tools\nExperience developing or integrating secure, scalable AI-enabled applications, intelligent workflows, or automation capabilities\nExperience with DevOps, production support, release management, and CI/CD automation\nExperience in enterprise cloud environments, cloud-native architecture, Microservices, or containerization\nExperience building financial services or financial technology applications\nAbility to support performance, application security, observability, data privacy, and responsible AI practices\nAbility to collaborate across product, architecture, security, engineering, and distributed development teams\nAbility to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining quality and delivery commitments\nIn addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.\nWhat’s in it for you\nAt Schwab, you’re empowered to shape your future.
