Within Advisor Services and Wealth Technology, you will help develop software that supports Registered Investment Advisors and the clients they serve.\nIn this role, you will contribute to the design, development, testing, deployment, and support of secure, scalable web applications. You will collaborate with engineers and business partners to translate requirements into effective solutions, troubleshoot technical issues, and make informed decisions that improve application quality and reliability. As your expertise grows, you will have opportunities to strengthen your knowledge of modern application architecture, automated delivery, cloud technologies, and resilient systems while contributing to solutions that create meaningful client and advisor outcomes.\nWhat you have\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\n3+ years of software development, internship, or equivalent hands-on experience developing enterprise or web-based applications.\nExperience developing web applications using Angular, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web development concepts.\nExperience developing back-end solutions using C#, ASP.NET, MVC frameworks, and RESTful and/or SOAP APIs.\nFoundational knowledge of relational databases, including SQL Server or Oracle.\nFoundational knowledge of document databases, including MongoDB or other NoSQL technologies.\nUnderstanding of the software development lifecycle, including application design, development, testing, deployment, and support.\nKnowledge of web application architecture, application security, debugging, session management, and performance optimization.\nKnowledge of CI/CD concepts, automated testing practices, and source control management.\nDemonstrated analytical problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience developing applications using microservices or cloud-native architectures.\nExperience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry or private cloud environments.\nExperience working with Agile, Scrum, behavior-driven development, or test-driven development practices.\nExperience developing scalable, secure, and resilient applications in a regulated environment.\nFamiliarity with automated testing frameworks and quality engineering practices.\nApplicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship\nIn addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.\nWhat’s in it for you\nAt Schwab, you’re empowered to shape your future.
