The position involves a balanced mix of design and hands-on coding, focused on our mission-critical Authentication platform.\nThis is an opportunity to lead at the forefront of financial technology innovation within a team that values innovative practices and delivering exceptional software solutions.\nIn this role as an individual contributor, you will be:\nYou will be required to do hands-on coding and coordinating with key collaborators to meet project deadlines and budget \nDesign, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions / GitHub Workflows. \nEstimating development sizing and costs and collaborating with the Scrum Master and product owner for efficient task prioritization \nEnsuring quality through automated testing and TDD and integrating SSO to interconnect various internal and external systems \nDriving release process improvements, assisting the Scrum Master with team needs, and synchronizing team efforts for seamless product releases \nProactively identifying risks, establishing mitigation plans, and maintaining documentation and code quality standards \nEngaging with both onshore and offshore teams to refine development practices \nAt Schwab, we’re committed to empowering our employees’ personal and professional success. and responsibilities:\nBachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security, related degree field OR related practical experience \n7+ years of experience in designing and deploying enterprise applications with Java/J2EE \n7+ years of software development experience \n7+ years of experience and in-depth knowledge of Agile principles, object-oriented analysis, design patterns, and server-side application development \n2-3+ years of experience with MongoDB, SAML, OAuth, REST Web Services, Kafka and transaction processing environments \nDesign, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions / GitHub Workflows. \nAutomate build, test, security scans, and deployment workflows across multiple environments. \nManage application deployments to Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). \nBuild and maintain Helm charts for Kubernetes-based deployments. \nEnable blue-green, canary, or rolling deployment strategies where applicable. \nEnsure pipeline reliability, scalability, and fast feedback for development teams. \nIntegrate CI/CD pipelines with artifact repositories, secret management, and configuration management systems. \nTroubleshoot and resolve pipeline failures, deployment issues, and environment inconsistencies. \nCollaborate with development, platform, and SRE teams to improve release automation and deployment standards. \nEnforce CI/CD best practices around security, auditability, and compliance. \nAutonomous, creative, and efficient problem-solver \nExcellent understanding of current Architecture and Development Standards \nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience in online security and user authentication \nMaster’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security,
