Your impact begins on day one, and your contributions will help define our future in the region\nWhat you have\nRequired Skills :\n4+ years of software engineering experience \nBachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent \nStrong foundation in computer science fundamentals including algorithms, data structures, OOP, design patterns, system design, databases, networking, concurrency, testing, CI/CD, and secure coding principles \nHands-on experience with GenAI coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar) \nProficiency in Java or .Net \nAbility to critically review AI-generated code for bugs, security issues, and code quality \nWorking knowledge of agentic workflows, agent development, and spec-driven development, including translating low-level design artifacts into structured specifications that guide AI-assisted implementation \nProficiency in prompt engineering and custom instruction authoring, with the ability to define and champion team-level standards for effective AI-assisted development\nPreferred Skills :\nCloud platform experience (GCP, AWS, Azure). \nExperience modernizing legacy platforms using automation and AI acceleration. \nAbility to drive technical innovation and contribute to engineering standards and strategy. \nAnalytical Thinking - Structured, logical problem-solving approach. \nSoftware Design & Development - Build scalable, reliable, high-quality systems. \nAI-Enabled Engineering - Accelerate delivery using AI tools with strong ownership and accountability. \nContinuous Improvement - Advance AI practices and engineering excellence across teams.\nWhat’s in it for you\nAt Schwab India, you’re empowered to shape your future.
