You will help drive the integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) and vendor-provided AI technologies by building reliable data pipelines, cloud-native services, and operational frameworks that support quality, scalability, and performance. Your work will directly influence how AI solutions are deployed, monitored, and optimized across the organization.\nSuccess in this role requires curiosity, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to navigate complex technical challenges across interconnected systems. You will contribute to engineering excellence through automation, observability, monitoring, testing, and operational best practices while mentoring team members and helping foster a collaborative culture focused on continuous improvement, innovation, and delivery excellence.\nWhat you have\nRequired Qualifications\n5+ years of software engineering, data engineering, or related experience delivering enterprise-scale technology solutions.\n5+ years of hands-on Python development experience focused on application development, integrations, automation, and data processing.\nExperience designing, developing, and supporting cloud-based applications and distributed systems.\nHands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including services such as Cloud Run, Google Cloud Storage (GCS), Dataflow, or comparable cloud-native technologies.\nExperience integrating APIs, cloud services, and enterprise applications to support scalable business solutions.\nStrong understanding of data quality, data validation, monitoring, and data integrity practices.\nExperience troubleshooting complex production issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing sustainable solutions.\nExperience developing automated testing strategies, validating outputs, and supporting software quality practices.\nExperience using source control, pipeline, code versioning, and modern software development methodologies.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Engineering, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience integrating Generative AI solutions and Large Language Models (LLMs) into enterprise applications.\nExperience supporting AI-enabled products, including deployment, monitoring, observability, and operational support.\nExperience working with cloud-based AI platforms and vendor-provided AI technologies.\nExperience building scalable data platforms that support AI and advanced analytics solutions.\nStrong understanding of AI application architecture, data preparation, testing, deployment validation, and performance evaluation.\nExperience developing highly reliable and observable production systems.\nStrong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder partnership skills within cross-functional environments.\nExperience supporting financial services, trading platforms, or highly regulated environments.\nIn addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.\nWhat’s in it for you\nAt Schwab, you’re empowered to shape your future.
