We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site in the specified location(s).\nYou’ll support the reliability and performance of Schwab.com and mobile platforms by monitoring critical systems, resolving incidents, automating processes, and improving CI/CD and infrastructure capabilities. Working across technical, agile, infrastructure, and vendor teams, you’ll troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive solutions that strengthen availability and resiliency. You’ll also help improve team capabilities through documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.\nResponsibilities will include:\nProvide guidance and support for performance, availability, CI/CD, automation, and monitoring/alerting for the Schwab.com/ Mobile SAVE team.\nWork with technical and agile teams to prioritize backlog work and incidents\nWhere possible, lead and train others within the team to increase team capabilities and capacity\nAutomate deployment, infrastructure and monitoring tools and systems\nEnhance, maintain and support various platforms including .Net, Java, Linux and Windows \nSupport disaster recovery planning and testing\nDevelop and improve documentation, diagrams, processes and technology \nIdentify opportunities to improve telemetry, monitoring and increase application reliability\nDocument processes using a knowledge base repository. \nWork through root cause analysis and develop remediation plans to improve reliability\nDrive resolution of issues/ completion of work and provide updates to stakeholders as needed \nOther duties as assigned\nWhat you have\nRequired qualifications\n3+ years of systems support, scripting, or development experience in an enterprise environment\nExperience supporting Windows and/or Linux environments\nStrong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills\nAbility to troubleshoot issues and drive solutions that improve system reliability\nPreferred qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience\nExperience with .NET, Java, automation, monitoring, CI/CD, or DevOps practices\nExperience with enterprise batch scheduling tools\nDemonstrated continuous learning and process improvement mindset\nIn addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.\nWhat’s in it for you\nAt Schwab, you’re empowered to shape your future.
