Your impact begins on day one, and your contributions will help define our future in the region.\nWhat you have\nKey Responsibilities:\nSet up, maintain, and enhance manual and automation test frameworks across multiple ASDD applications.\nBuild and execute test scenarios, acceptance tests, regression suites, and end-to-end integration tests.\nFacilitate E2E certification with upstream and downstream systems before and after production releases.\nUnderstand platform behavior from both business and technical perspectives to improve risk-based testing.\nDesign and maintain scalable quality frameworks covering UI, API, backend, and data movement validations.\nCollaborate with cross-functional development and QA teams to identify integration risks and build strong test cases.\nEvaluate and adopt emerging test tools, AI-assisted methods, and quality engineering best practices.\nSupport multiple concurrent projects in fast-paced release cycles.\nDevelop shell and Java/Python utilities for test data loading, reconciliation, and environment readiness checks.\nValidate data quality and integrity across SQL Server, Oracle, and downstream systems.\nSupport production triage, defect root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement of release quality controls.\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.\n3-5 years of professional experience in test automation frameworks within Agile environments.\nStrong understanding of SDLC and quality engineering paradigms.\nStrong understanding of test coverage strategy across unit, functional, integration, and regression layers.\nProgramming knowledge and hands-on experience in object-oriented languages (Java preferred)\nExperience with Atlassian toolchain (Bitbucket, Jira, Zephyr, Bamboo).\nProven experience in Agile delivery teams and sprint-based quality execution.\nStrong communication skills (oral and written) with ability to collaborate across developers, QA peers, and leads.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.\nAbility to work collaboratively and with minimal oversight across technical and business teams.\nExperience building and maintaining test frameworks for UI, API, and backend validations.\nExperience developing shell and Java/Python scripts for test data setup and cross-application validation.\nExperience supporting release certification pre-deployment and post-production deployment.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with ETL and data validation for functional, integration, performance, and security testing.\nExperience with TDD and CI/CD testing practices.\nExperience with cloud technologies such as PCF and GCP.\nExperience with SQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server).\nFinancial industry experience in regulated systems.\nExperience validating event-driven systems (RabbitMQ, Google Pub/Sub) and scheduled batch workflows (Control-M).\nExposure to AI-assisted QE tools for script generation, edge-case payload creation, and BDD debugging.\nExperience with observability platforms such as Splunk for defect triage and root cause analysis.\nWhat’s in it for you\nAt Schwab India, you’re empowered to shape your future.
