Your impact begins on day one, and your contributions will help define our future in the region.\nWhat you have\nRole Description\nSenior Manager, Enterprise Analytics Platforms, provides strategic and operational leadership for the organization's enterprise analytics platforms and services. This role is accountable for the vision, architecture, governance, engineering, support, security, and continuous evolution of business intelligence and analytics technologies, including Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Tableau, Alteryx, SAP BusinessObjects, and emerging AI-enabled analytics capabilities.\nAs both a technical and people leader, the Senior Manager (PL) directs engineers, platform administrators, and technology specialists responsible for delivering secure, scalable, highly available, and business-aligned analytics services. The role establishes long-term technology roadmaps, drives platform modernization initiatives, oversees operational excellence programs, and ensures enterprise-wide governance and risk management practices are effectively implemented.\nThe Senior Manager (PL) partners with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, infrastructure, data engineering, risk management, compliance to align analytics platform investments with business strategy. Also responsible for enabling self-service analytics, AI-powered capabilities, automation, and cloud transformation initiatives while maintaining operational resiliency, regulatory compliance, and strong governance practices.\nKey Responsibilities\nPeople Leadership Build organizational capabilities through coaching, mentoring, workforce planning, and succession management.\nEstablish performance objectives and accountability frameworks aligned with organizational goals.\nFoster a culture focused on innovation, operational excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.\nPlatform Engineering & Operations Provide oversight for platform architecture, engineering, support, reliability, performance, and scalability.\nEnsure operational excellence through monitoring, observability, automation, and service management best practices.\nLead large-scale platform transformations, migrations, upgrades, and modernization programs.\nEstablish enterprise standards for engineering, operations, support, and platform lifecycle management.\nGovernance, Security & Risk Management\nOversee platform governance frameworks, compliance requirements, and security controls,\nDirect access management, data protection, business continuity, disaster recovery, and operational resiliency programs.\nEnsure governance standards support regulatory, audit, and enterprise risk management requirements.\nPartner with cybersecurity and risk teams to mitigate operational and technology risks\nRequired Qualifications\n15+ years of experience in analytics platforms, business intelligence, enterprise technology, platform engineering, infrastructure, or operations management.\n8+ years of progressive leadership experience managing managers, technical leaders, and large engineering organizations.\nProven experience leading enterprise-scale analytics platforms including Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, SAP BusinessObjects, or comparable technologies.\nDemonstrated success developing and executing technology strategies, platform modernization programs, and large-scale transformation initiatives.\nExtensive experience managing enterprise operations, service delivery, governance, security, and technology risk management functions.\nStrong understanding of cloud platforms, enterprise architecture, infrastructure technologies, and platform engineering practices.\nExperience leading cross-functional programs involving architecture, infrastructure, data engineering, cybersecurity, risk, compliance, and business stakeholders.\nExpertise in IT Service Management (ITSM), operational excellence, incident management, problem management, change management, and service-level governance.\nExperience managing technology budgets, vendor relationships, software licensing, and investment planning activities.\nExceptional leadership, communication, executive presentation, negotiation, and organizational influence skills.\nProven ability to drive organizational change and deliver measurable business outcomes through technology transformation initiatives.\nPreferred Qualifications\nDeep expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI Premium, Tableau Cloud, Tableau Server, Alteryx Server, Databricks, Snowflake, and enterprise data ecosystems.\nDemonstrated success leading enterprise-scale cloud migrations, platform consolidations, and modernization programs.\nExperience implementing Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) operating models.\nStrong knowledge of enterprise AI governance frameworks, NIST AI Risk Management Framework (AI RMF), Responsible AI practices, and Human-in-the-Loop governance processes.\nExperience establishing enterprise analytics governance, self-service BI programs, data democratization initiatives, and AI enablement strategies.\nExperience within highly regulated industries such as financial services, banking, insurance, healthcare, or government sectors.\nDemonstrated success driving automation programs that significantly improve operational efficiency, service reliability, and user experience.\nExperience presenting technology strategies, operational reviews, risk assessments, and investment recommendations to executive leadership and governance boards.\nWhat’s in it for you\nAt Schwab India, you’re empowered to shape your future.
