If you’re energized by solving complex problems, collaborating across disciplines, and making a real difference in the workplace services industry, you’ll find your place here.\nIn this role, you will:\nHelp build a critical part of Schwab’s growth in the Workplace market.\n\nDesign and build scalable platforms supporting critical workplace applications, like Equity Administration for millions of participants.\n\nDrive modernization initiatives, including API and foundational system improvements that enable faster, safer integration and partnerships\n\nImprove platform stability, performance, and resilience to reduce risk and deliver seamless experiences at scale\n\nModernize legacy components to address high risk remediation and compliance while maintaining industry leading standards\n\nLeverage AI to innovate processes and outcomes for maximum efficiency and quality.\n\nBe part of a collaborative team where you aren’t an “order taker” but an influencer.\n\nWhat you have\nRequired Qualifications\nLeadership and Management:\n6+ years of leading and/or managing engineering teams, includes project, resource, and offshore management responsibilities.\n\nAbility to identify, recruit, hire, and build high-performing teams\n\nAbility to coach, mentor, and provide direct, timely performance feedback\n\nGood judgment and the ability to handle stressful situations.\n\nBroad knowledge of software engineering: languages, frameworks, techniques, industry trends, etc.\n\nProficient managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, geographically dispersed environment\n\nDeep understanding of SDLC, agile software development methodologies, values, and procedures\n\nAbility to analyze, propose and implement timely, cost effective, quality solutions for all issues or problems within area of responsibility\n\nStrong influencing, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with an ability to identify stakeholders, assess their needs and manage their expectations through effective communication\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills (includes ability to compose and deliver technical presentations or other forms of documentation to various levels of technical and non-technical management)\n\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.\n\nTechnical:\n10+ years of hands-on software development experience including one or more of the following:\n\nREST-based web services\n\nServer side applications with either Java or C#\n\nJavascript frameworks (Angular, React, etc...)\n\nSQL and NoSQL databases (Oracle, Postgres, and MongoDB are preferred).\n\nWorking proficiency with SCM and DevOps tool suites;
