Your impact begins on day one, and your contributions will help define our future in the region.\nWhat you have\nRequired Qualification\n8+ years of software engineering experience in Java or .NET, including enterprise \napplication development.\n Strong background in distributed systems, system design, and architecture. \n Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design. \n Experience in database design (SQL and NoSQL), data modeling, and data integrity. \n Hands-on expertise in concurrency, parallelism, and performance tuning. \n Experience with testing frameworks, CI/CD systems, and release engineering \npractices. \n Strong expertise in secure coding practices and production reliability. \n Hands-on cloud-native development experience on AWS, Azure, or GCP. \n Experience integrating APIs, services, and internal or external platforms. \n Experience mentoring engineers and driving technical excellence across teams. \nAgentic and AI-Specific Requirements \n Hands-on experience with GenAI-enabled development tools such as GitHub \nCopilot. \n Experience designing or working with agentic workflows and multi-step \norchestration. \n Ability to evaluate and govern AI-generated outputs for correctness and security. \n Strong engineering judgment to challenge, refine, or reject AI-generated outputs, \nincluding identifying hallucinations, ineAiciencies, and hidden risks. \n Ability to independently design, debug, and deliver software without AI assistance\nPreferred Qualifications \n Experience with agent frameworks such as LangChain, AutoGen, or CrewAI. \n Experience building large-scale distributed systems or platforms. \n Strong background in observability, SRE practices, and incident management. \n Exposure to evaluation frameworks, benchmarking, and AI system validation. \n Experience modernizing legacy applications using automation and AI. \n Familiarity with developer productivity tooling and internal engineering platforms. \nWhat Success Looks Like \n Software systems meet high standards of reliability, scalability, and maintainability \nwhile benefiting from agent-driven acceleration. \n Agentic workflows consistently produce production-quality outputs with minimal \nrework. \n Engineering velocity improves without compromising security, governance, or \nstability. \n CI/CD and platform capabilities enable repeatable, automated, and observable \ndelivery pipelines. \n Teams adopt standardized agentic patterns, playbooks, and engineering best \npractices. \n Operational risk is reduced while throughput scales through governed automation.\nWhat’s in it for you\nAt Schwab India, you’re empowered to shape your future.
