Such activities include receiving, forklift movement, inventory/quality control and sanitation.\nResponsible for warehouse overtime rates, communicating inventory status such as out of stock product(s) to pickers, receiving errors, picking errors, and warehouse slotting of products.\nGenerates warehouse productivity reports (i.e. piece count report), in regard to receiving rates, and accounts for all labor hours, both direct and indirect. Adheres to labor distribution requirements and works toward attaining objectives and division goals.\nResponsible for warehouse safety programs in order to provide a safe and clean workplace for employees and within the regulations of OSHA local and state regulations.\nResponsible for conveying maintenance of warehouse equipment and all necessary repairs to the Maintenance Dept. Ensures that the warehouse personnel have safe, efficient equipment in order to perform the distribution functions.\nRecommends equipment requirements and replacement to the Operations Manager in order to\nupgrade and maintain warehouse productivity and efficiency.\nResponsible for supporting all Food Safety Initiatives including managing the Safe Quality Food (SQF) System, PrimusGFS and Organic Certification requirements.\nResponsible for support of Warehouse Safety Initiatives.\nOther Duties as assigned\n Desired Minimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in a related field; five (5) or more years’ experience in material management type operations.\nMinimum of two (2) years in leadership role.\nSelf-starter, strategic and independent thinker with excellent business acumen.\nExcellent time management and capable of meeting work schedule deadlines.\nAdaptability/Flexibility, with the ability to react quickly to changing requirements from internal and external conditions while maintaining good communication with all parties involved.\nWorking knowledge of general workplace safety practices (Cal-OSHA, OSHA).\nStrong planning and organizational skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy.\nAbility to manage change and facilitate the implementation of new food safety programs.\nStrong and well-organized communicator, both written and verbal.\nBilingual Spanish/English, a plus\n All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.\nThis is a safety-sensitive position.\nThis employer participates in E-Verify and will provide the Social Security Administration and if necessary, the Department of Homeland Security with information from each new employee's Form I-9 to confirm work authorization.\nWe do not provide H1-B sponsorships at this time.\nPlease note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
