The role supports cybersecurity audit activities, control assessments, evidence collection, documentation, and remediation efforts against standards such as PCI, NIST, CIS Controls, and internal policies. Working closely with technical and business teams, control owners, auditors, and customer-facing partners, this position helps translate security requirements into clear, practical expectations and strengthen ongoing audit readiness and control effectiveness.\nMajor Duties and Responsibilities\nEstablish an advisory and effective challenge model to facilitate information security discussions, identify risks and control gaps, and provide insights that support strategic, risk-based decision-making.\nSupport PCI, CMMC, and other regulatory and compliance efforts, including audit planning and coordination, evidence collection, control reviews, auditor requests, and compliance responses. Recommend process enhancements to improve compliance effectiveness and audit readiness.\nEvaluate, test, and document PCI, NIST, and other security best-practice controls; assess control design and operating effectiveness; identify gaps; and support remediation plans, issue tracking, and validation of corrective actions.\nRecommend, develop, and maintain security policies, standards, procedures, guidance, control documentation, and related compliance records to support alignment with corporate requirements.\nInterpret and explain security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Collaborate with control owners, IT, and business teams to establish practical compliance expectations and improve understanding of security best practices.\nSupport ongoing compliance monitoring, audit evidence tracking, reporting of findings and remediation status, and preparation of compliance metrics and updates for relevant stakeholders.\nSupport customer compliance inquiries, due diligence, and assurance requests in coordination with internal teams.\nConduct research using authoritative security sources, vendor documentation, and industry best practices to inform compliance advice and recommended control improvements.\nPartner with Security Awareness and other teams on training, communications, and articles related to security policies, standards, and compliance obligations.\nRequired Qualifications\nRequired Skills/Abilities and Knowledge\nAdvanced knowledge of PCI, NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, NIST SP 800-154, or the Risk Management Framework (RMF).\nAdvanced understanding of networks, systems, data flows, and IT operations.\nAdvanced experience with data security and privacy regulations and common security tools.\nStrong analytical and critical-thinking skills.\nAbility to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.\nClear written and verbal communication skills, including translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences.\nDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams and build effective working relationships.\nAdvanced knowledge of industry security, regulatory, and legal compliance considerations.\nAbility to develop and maintain security policies, standards, and other related legal standards.\nExpert experience with at least six security frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO, NIST, COSO, COBIT, PCI, or CIS.\nRequired Education\nBachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field; or equivalent experience. Applicants without a degree but with relevant work experience and/or training will be considered.\nCISSP certification.\nRequired Related Work Experience\nIT security or corporate audit work experience - 6+ years.\nIT experience working in one or more domains (Security and Risk Management, Asset Security, Security Architecture and Engineering, Communications and Network Security, Identity and Access Management, Security Assessment and Testing, Security Operations, Software Development Security) - 6+ years.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting or coordinating internal and external cybersecurity audits, including evidence collection, control testing, remediation tracking, and audit readiness.\nExperience with security compliance in cloud, managed services, healthcare, financial services, or other technology environments.\nFamiliarity with HITRUST, HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 27001, and customer-facing security assurance requirements.\nExperience with ServiceNow, GRC platforms, audit/evidence management tools, or compliance automation platforms.\nExperience in professional services, consulting, or customer-facing compliance and due diligence activities.\nAdditional relevant certifications such as CISM, CRISC, Security+, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor.\nISE342 2026-85787 ISE342 2026\nHere, our employees don’t just have jobs, they're building careers.
