Your dedication ensures reliable connectivity for communities and strengthens Spectrum’s commitment to superior customer service.\nHow You’ll Make an Impact\nUnderstand and follow safety requirements and standards while supporting various construction projects\nMove, secure, load and unload cable equipment, tools and materials\nDig and restore holes and trenches, bury conduit and cables to support network construction\nPull lasher, strand and cable between poles to build aerial network infrastructure\nPerform traffic control and flagging to ensure safe worksites\nOperate and maintain crew vehicles\nWorking Conditions\nWork indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, day or night, including in poorly ventilated areas\nStand 50-70% of the time, carry and operate extension ladders, and climb poles as required\nTravel weekly with overnight stays as business needs dictate\nWork overtime, weekends or second shifts and participate in on-call rotation as needed\nWhat You’ll Bring to Spectrum\nRequired Qualifications\nEducation\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent work experience\nSkills\nClose and peripheral vision with ability to adjust focus and differentiate wire sizes and colors\nAbility to carry, climb and operate extension ladders up to 28 feet and 75 pounds as needed\nAbility to climb poles using gaffs, hooks and climbing belt with a 350-pound weight limit as needed\nAbility to travel between territories and facilities in inclement weather using a company vehicle\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\nFamiliarity with computer operating systems and software applications\nAbility to complete documentation accurately\nLicenses\nValid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record meeting Spectrum’s standards\nPreferred Qualifications\nSkills\nKnowledge of basic electronic testing equipment such as ohm meters\nLicenses\nAbility to obtain all necessary state licenses for installing or servicing security services as needed\nCDL or ability to obtain CDL\nEFR130 2026-83768 EFR130 2026\nHere, our employees don’t just have jobs, they're building careers. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
