You'll work with leaders to improve decisions and organizational effectiveness.\nHow You’ll Make an Impact\nProvide guidance to managers and employees on human resources issues and employment law\nDevelop programs and initiatives to meet your team’s needs\nCoordinate solutions with senior HR teammates and implement plans to address long-term human resource needs and trends\nPerform advanced employee relations functions including counseling, dispute resolution, managing performance issues, reviewing termination requests and conducting exit interviews\nConduct complex and sensitive employee investigations, manage workers compensation reporting and safety regulation processes\nCoordinate administration of leave of absence programs, transitional work and accommodations, conduct benefits open enrollment and employee and supervisor trainings\nEnsure timely and accurate HRIS and payroll entries, perform audit and compliance functions and maintain employee records\nDemonstrated project management skills, business acumen, and analytical skills\nWorking Conditions\nOffice environment\nSome travel as required\nWhat You’ll Bring to Spectrum\nRequired Qualifications\nEducation\nBachelor's degree in human resources, business, related field or equivalent\nExperience\n5+ years of Human Resources Generalist experience\nSkills\nCommunicate clearly in writing and verbally with all levels of employees and the public\nMaintain confidentiality of information\nMake decisions and solve problems under pressure\nDemonstrated PC skills and Microsoft Office skills\nPrioritize and organize work effectively and work independently\nExercise judgment and initiative to complete duties in a timely manner\nKnowledge of local, state and federal employment laws and procedures including state and federal wage and hour laws\nKnowledge of recruitment trends and technologies and of staffing and employment practices\nDemonstrated knowledge of employee relations procedures and applicable law and demonstrated consultative and coaching skills\nDemonstrated analytical skills, business acumen and project management skills\nPreferred Qualifications\nEducation\nCertifications for Human Resource Professionals (PHR, SPHR) preferred\nSkills\nValid driver's license with satisfactory driving record within company standards\nKnowledge of Spectrum / telecommunications products and services\nHGN345 2026-85617 HGN345 2026\nHere, our employees don’t just have jobs, they're building careers.
