Full on-the-job training is provided!\nFinishing Operator | Cleveland, OH\nStarting Pay: $24.25/hr + $2.25/hr Night Shift Premium\nShift: 6:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m. / 6:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.\nRotating 5-2-2-5 Schedule: 12-hour shifts. 5 days on, 2 off, 2 on, 5 off!\nRotate through different tasks to complete the final stages of the steel rolling process.\nOperate and monitor the Stelmor cooling conveyor and bar line conveyor.\nTrim coil ends to meet quality specifications.\nOperate coil compactor and other coil handling equipment.\nOperate the straight bar shear saw and stacking table.\nOperate a forklift.\nMaintain trimming equipment and manage scrap ring disposal.\nFollow packaging requirements for coil and cut-to-length steel.\nWork closely with teammates to support production and internal customer needs.\nFollow all safety, environmental, and quality procedures.\nPerform additional plant duties as assigned.\nPhysical Requirements:\nConstant standing and lifting up to 75 lbs.\nFrequent sitting, walking, and lifting up to 10 lbs.\nOccasional work below waist level, pushing/pulling, carrying, reaching beyond 15 inches, fine motor tasks, and forceful motion.\nMinimal climbing, balancing, overhead reaching, and foot use, with occasional lifting over 100 lbs.\nAbility to meet all physical requirements and essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation, as detailed in the Job Analysis Database.\nWhat You Bring:\nA high school diploma or GED, or willingness to enroll in our FREE GEDWorks program\nComfort with basic math, like counting and simple calculations\nA team-focused approach and the ability to communicate and work well with others\nAbility to follow instructions and solve problems\nPrevious manufacturing experience is a plus!\nForklift and/or overhead crane experience is a plus!\nA strong safe-work mindset; safety training is a plus\nHelp us create the steel that builds the future!
