Strengthen your communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills through real-world engineering projects.\nProgram Structure:\n Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week) during the summer.\nLocation: Shawano, WI\nStart Date: May 2027\nDuration: Summer internship \nWhat we're looking for:\nEnrollment in a four-year degree program in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with current status of at least a Sophomore level.\nCumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.\nProficient in Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nStrong interpersonal and relationship building skills.\nAbility to succeed in a team environment.\nAbility to handle multiple tasks.\nPreferred experience:\nAutoCAD and Solid Works.\nKnowledge of mechanical systems (hydraulics, pneumatic).\nData analysis and problem solving techniques.\nWhat you'll focus on:\nSupport core and finishing process improvement initiatives.\nIdentify opportunities to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.\nAssist with designing machine upgrades.\nComplete designs and layouts for equipment and structures.\nWork with maintenance to troubleshoot equipment issues.\nApply engineering principles to design and material selection.\nWhat Sets Our Internship Program Apart: Work on meaningful projects while receiving mentorship, professional development, and networking opportunities that help launch your career.
