Build valuable skills in communication, relationship building, data analysis, and project management while collaborating with employees and leaders across the organization.\nProgram Structure:\n Schedule: Part-time (15-20 hours/week) during the academic year and full-time (40 hours/week) during the summer.\nLocation: Saukville, WI\nStart Date: January 2027 \nDuration: Year-round internship\nWhat we're looking for:\nEnrollment in a four-year degree program in Human Resources Management or a related field with current status of at least a Sophomore level.\nCumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.\nProficient in Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nExcellent customer service skills to assist employees with questions.\nStrong interpersonal and relationship building skills.\nPlanning and organizational skills.\nTime management skills.\nAttention to detail.\nAbility to succeed in a team environment.\nAbility to handle multiple tasks.\nPreferred experience:\nHRIS experience.\nCustomer service experience.\nFamiliarity and/or experience with HR practices and HR law.\nWhat you'll focus on:\nSupport the implementation and continuous improvement of structured on-the-job training (OJT) programs and Dozuki across Charter Steel.\nAssist with coordinating talent development projects, tracking milestones, and supporting program implementation.\nPrepare, coordinate, and co-facilitate employee training sessions, workshops, and meetings.\nSupport change management initiatives through employee engagement, communication, and adoption of new processes.\nCollaborate with Operations, Safety, Quality, Human Resources, and other teams to identify training needs and opportunities.\nDevelop training materials, presentations, job aids, and process documentation to support employee learning.\nAnalyze training metrics, track program effectiveness, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.\nSupport long-term sustainability of training programs by improving processes, strengthening accountability, and enhancing the employee learning experience.\nWhat Sets Our Internship Program Apart: Work on meaningful projects while receiving mentorship, professional development, and networking opportunities that help launch your career.
