CharterUp has achieved this growth profitability and efficiently, ensuring long-term stability.\nTitle: Project Manager, Enterprise Operations\nReports to: Director, Enterprise Strategy & Operational Excellence\nLocation: Remote (must reside in one of CharterUP's approved states - see below) \nCharterUP is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the newly established Enterprise Operations PMO. This role leads execution on CharterUP's largest and most complex client-facing engagements, from new product and program launches to large-scale, time-critical mobilizations, while also building the foundational PMO standards, charters, governance cadences, and reporting processes the function runs on. You will report directly to the Director of Enterprise Strategy & Operational Excellence and partner across Enterprise Operations, Technology, Finance, Legal, and client-facing teams to deliver initiatives spanning client programs, system implementations, internal process builds, regulatory rollouts, and more. \nWhat You’ll Do\nOwn end-to-end delivery of CharterUP’s largest and most complex cross-functional projects, spanning large-scale client-facing launches, systems and technology initiatives, internal process changes, regulatory rollouts, and other high-priority operational initiatives, from business case through close-out and retrospective\nLead project management for large-scale, time-critical mobilizations driven by urgent client or market disruptions, coordinating workstreams across the organization and driving execution from initial planning through deployment and closeout. Maintain and continuously improve a standing mobilization playbook that can scale to future projects.\nLead the stand-up and launch of complex client-facing projects and events, then transition ongoing, business-as-usual execution to the assigned account manager once the program is running smoothly. \nHelp build and refine the foundational PMO standards: project charter templates, status reporting formats, risk and issue logs, governance cadences, and project intake processes.\nDevelop business cases and project charters that clearly define scope, success metrics, resourcing, and timeline for new initiatives.\nHold cross-functional partners accountable to deliverables and deadlines without having formal authority over them.\nLead change management for the initiatives you run, driving adoption and managing resistance through the transition, not just tracking the project plan. \nPlan and manage project schedules, dependencies, critical paths, and resourcing conflicts across multiple concurrent projects. \nIdentify risks early and build mitigation plans before they become issues.\nRun and lead project meetings, including kickoffs, working sessions, executive steering committees, and cross-functional workstreams, driving clear decisions, owners and action items rather than status recitals.\nMaintain project ledgers, trackers, RAID logs, RACI charts, and brief leadership clearly and concisely as needed.\nTrack project budgets against plan and flag variances early.\nApply Lean Six Sigma and Agile principles to cut waste and manual effort out of how projects get delivered.\nCreate SOPs, guides, and training materials tied to the projects you run, so the process outlives the project.\nPartner with the Director to help shape the long-term PMO roadmap and operating model, thinking ahead of the current project list.\nWhat You’ll Bring\n5+ years of project or program management experience, including standing up new programs, processes, or systems in ambiguous or undefined environments required; not just executing an existing playbook.\nDemonstrated experience managing cross-functional projects spanning technology/systems implementations, client-facing initiatives, and internal process or operational change.\nExperience leading or playing a key role in large-scale, client-facing program launches or time-critical, high-stakes mobilizations under pressure. \nExperience leading change management for process or system transitions, including driving adoption and managing resistance, not just tracking a project plan. \nExperience writing business cases and project charters that have been funded and delivered.\nA track record of holding stakeholders accountable and driving outcomes without formal authority over the people involved.\nStrong meeting facilitation and executive communication skills, with the confidence to drive accountability and decisions across stakeholders at all levels of the organization.\nWorking knowledge of risk identification and mitigation planning.\nExperience managing or tracking project budgets and reporting variances.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to brief senior leadership clearly and concisely.\nExperience building SOPs, process documentation, or training materials.\nA bias for action and comfort making progress with incomplete information.\nPMP, CAPM, or an equivalent project management certification preferred.\nLean Six Sigma and/or Agile/Scrum certification preferred.\nExperience in a high-growth technology, marketplace, logistics, or transportation environment is a plus.\nTravel\nOccasional travel to client locations to assist in project launches and operations.\nOccasional travel for team onsite meetings.\nEstimated Travel: 35% \nTravel needs may change based on company needs.\nRecruiting Process\nStep 1 - Video call: Talent Acquisition interview\nStep 2 - Video call: Hiring Manager interview\nStep 3 - Video call: Team interviews\nStep 4 - Video call: Case study presentation\nStep 5 - Offer & Background Check\nWelcome aboard!\nGlobal Benefits & Perks at CharterUP\nWe believe great people can live anywhere-and they deserve great benefits, too.
