We manage and maintain client IT environments to ensure network reliability, system security, operational efficiency and business continuity.\n\nDue to the requirements of our business and client base, we are seeking an experienced Network Administrator to join our technical team.\n\nAbout the Position\n\nThe Network Administrator will be responsible for installing, maintaining, monitoring and troubleshooting computer networks, hardware, software and associated IT infrastructure across multiple client environments. The role requires practical expertise in network administration, server and workstation maintenance, system security, fault diagnosis and technical documentation.\n\nKey Duties and Responsibilities\n\nInstall, configure and maintain computer hardware, software and network infrastructure across client environments.\n\nMonitor, maintain and optimise LAN, WAN and wireless network performance to ensure reliable connectivity and efficient operation.\n\nConfigure, maintain and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, network access points and related network equipment.\n\nMonitor network traffic, system availability, capacity and utilisation to identify and resolve performance issues.\n\nInstall, configure and maintain servers, desktop computers, printers, storage systems and associated network resources.\n\nAdminister Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, user accounts, passwords and access permissions.\n\nDiagnose network, hardware and software faults, determine their causes and implement appropriate corrective measures.\n\nDocument fault diagnosis, troubleshooting procedures, resolutions, system changes and network maintenance activities.\n\nMonitor and maintain system backups, coordinate backup activities and assist with data restoration and recovery procedures.\n\nMaintain network configurations, IT asset inventories, security records, technical documentation and operating procedures.\n\nPerform routine preventative maintenance, software updates, firmware upgrades and hardware replacements.\n\nProvide technical assistance to clients experiencing network connectivity, server, workstation and IT infrastructure problems.\n\nCoordinate with internet service providers, hardware suppliers and software vendors to resolve technical issues and maintain service continuity.\n\nAssist with network upgrades, equipment deployments, client onboarding and IT infrastructure improvement projects.\n\nProvide technical guidance to users on network access, computer systems, security procedures and appropriate use of IT resources.\n\nEssential Requirements\n\nRelevant experience in network administration, IT infrastructure management or a similar technical position.\n\nStrong knowledge of computer networks, network hardware, operating systems and troubleshooting methodologies.\n\nExperience maintaining servers, workstations, printers and network-connected devices.\n\nKnowledge of network security, user access management, backup procedures and technical documentation.\n\nStrong analytical, diagnostic and problem-solving skills.\n\nEffective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with technical staff and business clients.\n\nDesirable Qualifications and Experience\n\nA relevant qualification in Information Technology, Computer Networking, Computer Science or a related discipline.\n\nExperience with Windows Server, Microsoft technologies, firewall administration and network monitoring tools.\n\nRelevant networking or systems administration certifications.\n\nPrevious experience working for a Managed IT
