The Residential Supervisor works within the Agency’s team model, establishing open communication, support and accountability among co-workers. Our team works in a supportive residential environment for developmentally disabled adults living in a community-based group home.\nResponsibilities:\nSupervises all full or part-time staff to ensure appropriate service delivery\nSupporting clients' activities of daily living,\nAdministering medications as needed,\nAdvocating for individuals' within various community settings,\nProviding opportunities to optimize their independence\nDevelop professional and supportive relationships with clients and provide informal counseling and guidance with a person-centered focus.\nInteracts with clients in order to assess needs, provide information, discuss problems, set limits, and encourage growth and development while monitoring safety\nUnderstands, follows/implements all client ISP’s and documents progress\nProvides thorough orientation of all new staff\nREQUIREMENTS:\nMinimum two years’ experience with the population as well supervisory experience.\nMust have current MAP certification, CPR and First Aid.\nMust have excellent oral and written communication and must be proficient in use of computers.\nBachelor’s Degree in related field required.\nReliable automobile and valid driver’s license required.\nFlexibility needed to work one weekend day, including on call. \nTake advantage of a competitive salary of $52,000 annually, as well as a phenomenal benefit package that includes Dental, Health and Life insurance.
