It's a new business role: you find high-potential trade businesses and guide them from the first conversation to a signed deal. You'll sit in our Strategic Growth team, at the heart of how we grow the trade network that homeowners rely on.\nThe job, unfiltered:\nWin new trade businesses by finding high-potential small and medium trades, building proposals that make sense for them and negotiating terms.\n\nHand each new trade over smoothly to our vetting team, so the start of their Checkatrade journey goes well.\n\nSpot opportunities in the market, using data and insights to see where Checkatrade is strong and where we can grow.\n\nWork with Account Management, Vetting, Product and Operations to find the regions and categories that would benefit most from Checkatrade.\n\nLearn our product suite inside out, so every business case is tailored to the prospect in front of you.\n\nOwn the outbound sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through to proposals, negotiation and closing.\n\nThe fit:\nSolid experience in commercial or new business sales, ideally in similar markets, with a strong focus on outbound acquisition.\n\nA track record of finding new clients, building tailored proposals and hitting revenue targets.\n\nThe knack for building strong relationships with tradespeople, and working closely with colleagues across teams.\n\nConfidence juggling multiple priorities and improving how things get done.\n\nExperience building customer relationships, whether through digital outreach or face-to-face conversations.\n\nTenacity and resilience. This is a test-and-learn environment where persistence matters.\n\nNice to have: familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce) and outbound tools, and an understanding of AI-powered optimisation tools.\n(Don't self-select out because you don't tick every box.
