You'll own the diary, the priorities and the details in between, with a seat close to the decisions shaping Checkatrade's next chapter. It's a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave.\nThe job, unfiltered:\nOwn the CEO's diary end to end: prioritise what matters, protect focus time and make sure every meeting has a clear purpose and the right people in the room.\n\nCoordinate board and leadership meetings: pull the papers together, chase actions and make sure nothing falls through the cracks between sessions.\n\nManage complex travel and itineraries, so the CEO turns up ready and without the faff.\n\nBe the first point of contact for the CEO, handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion and representing them well with senior stakeholders, investors and the exec team.\n\nKeep the leadership team's rhythm on track by coordinating offsites, leadership meetings and the cross-team moments that keep everyone aligned.\n\nSpot where things could run better and fix them. You'll have real ownership of how the CEO's office runs day to day.\n\nThe fit:\nExperience supporting a CEO, founder or senior executive in a fast-moving business, ideally at C-suite level.\n\nA sharp eye for detail, and the judgement to know what's urgent, what's important and what can wait.\n\nTotal discretion with confidential and sensitive information.
