The primary responsibility is to act as a technical adviser and product expert, working with the Sales team and driving the technology evaluation stage in the sales process. You must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technically-oriented prospects as well as ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle. You need to be self-motivated and work in a fast-paced environment comfortably. The role involves working remotely and onsite within India, and in additional territory as we expand.\nHow will you make an impact?\nAct as a technical adviser and product expert for Checkmarx prospects and customers across the region \nManage and coordinate all technical requirements in the Sales process \nPerform technical demonstrations of the Checkmarx solution in a face to face meetings, conventions, and web sessions \nResponsible for presenting the Checkmarx solution to prospects at field events, Conferences, seminars, etc. \nAble to respond to functional and technical elements of RFPs \nAble to convey customer requirements to the Product Management teams \nDesign implementation of solutions according to customer’s technical requirements \nRequirements\nWhat is needed to succeed?\nA passion to learn and grow in a fast-changing industry \nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or any correlating degree; master’s degree and/or CISSP certification preferred. \nAt least 6+ years’ experience \nPreference for experience with application/software development C#, .NET, JAVA, PHP, etc. programming languages and experience with modern CI/CD and DevOps tools preferred. \nExperience in a customer-facing role and enterprise software Pre-Sales experience or consulting background is preferred. \nProject management experience would be an advantage. \nTechnical writing experience a plus. \nGood teamwork capability, ability to work autonomously, self-starter who works effectively with technical and non-technical people. \nA background in the software security industry, including penetration testing and code review, is highly preferred. \nAdaptable and flexible with a history of embracing new tools and technologies. \nUnderstanding of application security challenges and testing tools. \nTravel required when the situation allows and when it is safe to do so. \nWhat we have to offer\nCheckmarx offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, competitive compensation, great work-life balance, as well as great benefits and perks throughout the year.
