This role is an excellent opportunity to further improve existing knowledge and skills around payments and operational finance within a team with wide ranging responsibilities.\nKey Responsibilities\nRespond to Internal and external queries\n\nCalculate and execute adjustments to merchant pay-outs\n\nMonitor Merchant account - Set security deposits and thresholds on accounts working with Internal departments.\n\nMonitor and reconcile transactions and payment volumes across all our systems daily.\n\nManage email correspondence and statement distribution to major merchants.\n\nDealing with merchant payment queries and investigations\n\nReview processing data and analysis\n\nWeekly and monthly reporting\n\nParticipation in ongoing projects around development of back office systems\n\nReviewing processes and procedures\n\nLiaising with 3rd party providers (eg. Banks)\n\nUse strong problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of our systems to resolve queries with our customers in mind\n\nAssisting the rest of the team as required, Including providing support to Senior Client Services Specialist.\n\nAd hoc reporting as required.\n\nAbout You\nIn-depth understanding of transactional payment processes\n\nAbility to handle multiple tasks with tight delivery schedules and prioritise accordingly.\n\nStrong sense of ownership and accountability\n\nProcess oriented and high level of attention to detail\n\nExcellent time management skills with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and work collaboratively.\n\nDemonstrated experience of working within the financial services industry\n\nHigh level of proficiency with MS Excel (Highly desirable)\n\nProcess driven - You understand processes intuitively, are highly organised, and are constantly on the lookout to improve the way you work. You love tweaking things.\n\nCollaborative - You seek first to understand and then to be understood.
