Description: Responsible for loading, unloading, and moving materials around the warehouse and storage yard using forklifts and pallet jacks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Load and unload inventory safely using sit-down forklifts and warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Occasional use of a pallet jack (electric)
- Occasional use of a wrapping machine
- Verify accuracy by verifying SKUs, checking for damages, and updating inventory by accurately completing shipping/receiving logs, BOLs (Bills of Lading), and inventory records.
- Move Tractor-Trailers around the distribution warehouse area
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace efficiently and perform down-stocking to ensure smooth inventory flow.
- Follow SOPs and safety
Qualifications
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Experience preferred; OSHA-certified forklift training provided
- Valid driver’s license, meets background criteria
- May regularly lift up to 20 lbs and 40-50 lbs occasionally
- Must be detail-oriented
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting pick per hour goals.
- Be dependable and reliable to work Monday through Friday for the assigned shift
