you will experience in this position:\nAttend kick-off and status meetings with the execution team and client representatives.\nPerform project setup tasks.\nDistribute and maintain project specific design information to the employees working on IHS projects.\nProvide time coding direction to all engineering employees working on IHS projects.\nProvide technical support to designers, and to the procurement and construction departments as required.\nEnsure the Engineering department work processes, data management tools, Enterprise and Project Design Guides and CAD standards are being observed on IHS projects.\nPerform quality audits on completed work for consistency, optimization, and adherence to project requirements.\nIdentify and communicate proposed solutions to any emerging issues which are likely to impact cost, schedule, quality/design integrity, safety, or interface with construction.\nReport Production Inventory (available work) and deployed resources to support scheduling.\nMonitor design progress of assigned projects to ensure scheduled work is completed on time.\nReport and document project, technical, and work process related problems.\nReceive, review, and manage changes to all client documents and internal deliverables.\nAssemble and release work packages for all engineering deliverables in order of priority as determined by the project schedule.\nInteract with Project Manager and/or client Representative to facilitate information transfer for the project.\nManage Requests for Information (RFI’s) and analyze and process Design Change Notices (DCN’s).\nTrack scope completion and control all working copy documents.\nWork on engineering deliverables when required.\nSubmit software bugs or enhancements to development team.\nProvide mentoring support to Designers as required.\nOccasionally support projects at site.\n\nYou have:\nAn engineering degree from an accredited university or a technology diploma from a recognized college in the Electrical or Mechanical disciplines is preferred.\n2-5 years of experience as a Design Engineer or Field Engineer specializing in EHT is preferred.\nPossess solid time management skills.\nExperience with AutoCAD, MS Suites and SAP an asset\nKnowledge of basic electrical and EHT design experience is an
