The successful candidate will drive regulatory compliance, continuous improvement, team development, and operational excellence to meet global standards, customer requirements, and statutory obligations.
What You Will Experience In This Position
1. Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop teams to embed quality disciplines, data-driven decision-making, and best practices across operations. Manage Quality Assurance technicians to meet internal/external customer demands.2. QMS Management: Drive continuous improvement of the site’s ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System. Lead internal/external quality audits and assessments to ensure compliance with Chemelex Global Quality policies; lead cross-functional teams to close audit non-conformances.3. Issue Resolution: Lead the investigation, resolution, and prevention of customer complaints and internal non-conformances. Establish and execute robust Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) and 8D problem-solving plans.4. Process Control: Provide statistical support for process capability studies and controls to improve quality performance. Lead the implementation of quality assurance plans and process controls to meet or exceed requirements.5. NPD & Supplier Quality: Participate in New Product Development (NPD) teams, driving Product Quality Planning, FMEAs, and PPAPs. Deliver technical support to suppliers to resolve and eliminate systemic quality issues.6. Data & CI: Track, report, and improve quality KPIs/KPAs with targeted action plans. Conduct cost-benefit analyses and develop proposals for continuous improvement projects (design changes, rework processes, back-charge decisions, etc.).
Qualification Requirements
Academic Background1. BS in Engineering or related technical field; advanced degree preferred2. Minimum 7 years of QA/QC experience in manufacturing/assembly environment;
Professional Experience1. Experience in manufacturing, preferably in electronic assembly2. Demonstrated people management experience3. Proven track record managing an ISO 9001 Quality Management System4. Strong project management and cross-functional leadership skills to resolve quality issues timely and effectively5. Experience in Lean Manufacturing and driving continuous improvement
Skills1. Strong analytical thinking and root-cause problem-solving abilities (8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone).2. Adaptable to rapid change and able to perform under pressure with a positive, solutions-oriented attitude.3. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with statistical software and ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP) is preferred.4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in English and Chinese.5. Knowledge of material flow processes and supply chain fundamentals.
