General responsibilities will include participation in month end close activities, internal and external audit responsibilities, as well as proactive participation in financial analysis, and continuous improvement efforts.\n\nIn this position, you will get to:\nPrepare month-end close including journal entries, cash clearing, accruals, and reconciliations.\nMaintain and analyzed the general ledger, identifying and resolving variances to improve reporting accuracy and transparency\nPerform detailed account reconciliations (bank, balance sheet, and P&L), reducing discrepancies and strengthening audit readiness\nPartnered with operations and plant leadership to provide financial insights on inventory, production costs, and variances, supporting data-driven decision-making\nSupport budgeting and forecasting , including variance analysis against actuals and identification of cost-saving opportunities\nEnsured compliance with SOX/internal controls, maintaining documentation and supporting internal and external audits\nLeveraged ERP systems (e.g., SAP, OneStream) to streamline financial processes and improve data integrity\nCollaborated cross-functionally with finance, supply chain, and operations teams to enhance financial visibility and process efficiency\nPrepare Ad Hoc data requests and project work as requested\nBack-up others as needed in the primary accounting center environment to help with workloads as appropriate and to ensure work is completed timely and accurately.\n\nYOU HAVE:\nBachelor’s degree in accounting or business-related field. \nPrevious experience in or with:\n4+ years accounting experience.\nExperience with SAP preferred;\nExperience with OneStream a plus.\nExperience in manufacturing environment a plus. \nSkills/Abilities:\nProficient with all Microsoft Office products;\nCPA or CMA preferred but not required;\nExceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities;\nAbility to work and interact with various departments throughout the organization;\nThe ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals;\nThe ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from individuals at all levels of the organization;\nThe ability to work with and apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations;\nThe ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions;\nMust display flexibility in regard to overtime during periods of peak activity;\nMust be a team player, a self-starter who is looking to grow professionally, and possess excellent written and verbal communication
