This role is responsible for ensuring supply continuity, managing supplier relationships, supporting cost reduction initiatives, monitoring market conditions, and coordinating with manufacturing, planning, quality, and engineering teams. \nThe ideal candidate has 2-4 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, or materials management within the manufacturing Industries. \nKey Responsibilities \nManage procurement and supply planning activities for resins, chemicals, additives, and related raw materials.\nDevelop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, delivery, and cost objectives are met.\nMonitor inventory levels and collaborate with planning teams to prevent shortages and excess inventory.\nAnalyze market trends, pricing, capacity constraints, and supply risks affecting resin and chemical commodities.\nNegotiate pricing, contracts, lead times, and commercial terms with suppliers.\nSupport supplier qualification, performance reviews, and corrective action processes.\nCoordinate with operations, quality, engineering, and logistics teams to ensure uninterrupted production.\nLead supply recovery efforts during material shortages or disruptions.\nTrack and report key metrics including supplier performance, cost savings, inventory levels, and on-time delivery.\nSupport new product introductions by sourcing and qualifying new materials and suppliers.\nEnsure compliance with company policies, environmental regulations, and industry standards\nQualifications\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred\n2-4 years of purchasing, procurement, inventory management, or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.\nExperience in commodity management or sourcing/procurement of resins and chemicals required.\nTechnical Skills & Knowledge\nProficiency with ERP systems;
