As a Manufacturing Technology Engineer within our FEP business, you will play a key role in improving one of Chemours' most advanced fluoropolymer production assets. Your work will directly contribute to safer operations, sustainable manufacturing, and products used in technologies that power the world's energy transition and semiconductor industry.\nMain Duties & Responsibilities\nAs a Manufacturing Technology Process Engineer, you will be responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our FEP production unit. You will work daily with colleagues from Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, and Technology to solve process issues, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to safety, quality, productivity, and sustainability.\nYour main responsibilities:\nProvide technical support in case of malfunctions, modifications, and process safety activities (PSM).\nLead root cause analyses and continuous improvement projects.\nCoordinate technical reviews and safety analyses (such as PHAs, MOCs, PSSRs).\nInitiate and implement process changes aimed at improving safety, quality, sustainability, and/or reducing costs.\nAnalyse process and operational data to identify improvement opportunities.\nSupport project proposals and investments to achieve maximum reliability and minimum life cycle costs.\nDraft, review, and improve procedures and technical documentation.\nQualifications:\nMaster’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a comparable field.\nSeveral years of relevant experience in production or process engineering\nExperience with polymerization processes, fluorochemicals, or reliability engineering is an advantage.\nFluency in English; proficiency in Dutch is a plus or willingness to learn.\nStrong communication and analytical skills.\nExperience with process safety (PSM), statistical process control, or data analysis is a plus.\nProactive attitude, flexibility, and the ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams.\nExceptional early-career candidates are also encouraged to apply\nThe work we do is challenging, stimulating and complex; you will be empowered to play a direct part and will be able to see the impact of your role.\nWe work in a highly collaborative way, so you will interface frequently with colleagues outside of your direct team, and at all levels of the organisation.\nWe look forward to welcoming you!\nDon’t meet every single requirement?\nStudies have shown that some people are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification.
