This position will be available at the DeLisle Plant location in Pass Christian, MS.\nThe responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:\nProvide strategic and operational leadership for assigned manufacturing areas, ensuring safe, reliable, compliant, and cost-effective performance aligned with site and business objectives.\n\nLead and develop Production Leaders, supervisors, and other operations personnel, building leadership capability, accountability, employee engagement, and a strong safety culture.\n\nEstablish and drive performance against key operating metrics including safety, process safety, production, OEE/downtime, reliability, yield, quality, productivity, and cost.\n\nEnsure strong operational discipline and compliance with Process Safety Management (PSM), EHS requirements, operating procedures, and regulatory standards within high-hazard manufacturing operations.\n\nDevelop and execute short- and mid-term operating plans while providing input to longer-term site strategy, asset utilization, resource requirements, and manufacturing priorities.\n\nManage fixed and variable operating costs, monitor financial performance, and develop actions to achieve annual cost and productivity commitments.\n\nPartner with Maintenance, Reliability, Engineering, and Capital Project teams to prioritize asset needs, improve equipment reliability, maintain safe operations, and support successful project execution within assigned operating areas.\n\nDrive continuous improvement through Lean principles including daily management, visual management, standard work, Kaizen, and structured problem solving to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.\n\nEnsure effective quality management practices, including investigation and resolution of non-conformances and sustained performance against product and process requirements.\n\nCollaborate with Plant Leadership, Supply Chain, functional partners, and other site stakeholders to optimize plant performance, build organizational capability, and support the long-term competitiveness of the site.\n\nThe following is required for this role:\nBachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering; Mechanical, Electrical, or other relevant engineering disciplines will also be considered based on applicable operations experience.\n\nMinimum 10 years of manufacturing or industrial operations experience, including leadership within a PSM-covered, high-hazard chemical, petrochemical, refining, or comparable process manufacturing environment.\n\nDemonstrated manager-of-managers leadership experience with responsibility for developing leaders and delivering safety, process safety, production, quality, reliability, and organizational performance.\n\nDemonstrated experience managing significant operating or fixed-cost budgets and driving results through KPIs, operational discipline, cost management, and performance improvement.\n\nWillingness to relocate in the future for continued leadership and career development opportunities within Chemours.\n\nThe following is preferred for this role:\nDemonstrated Lean manufacturing experience, including daily management systems, visual management, standard work, Kaizen, and structured problem solving.\n\nLean certification and/or experience supporting or leading a Lean transformation.\n\nExperience using SAP or another ERP system to manage operational performance, costs, and data-driven decision making.\n\nExperience partnering with Maintenance, Reliability, Engineering, and Capital teams to prioritize investments and improve performance in aging, corrosive, abrasive, or otherwise challenging process-manufacturing assets.\n\nBenefits:\nCompetitive Compensation\nComprehensive Benefits Packages\n401(k) Match\nEmployee Stock Purchase Program\nTuition Reimbursement\nCommuter Benefits\nLearning and Development Opportunities\nStrong Inclusion and Diversity Initiatives\nCompany-paid Volunteer Day\nWe’re a different kind of chemistry company because we see our people as our biggest assets.
