This position is based at our Dordrecht Site and will report directly to the Manufacturing Technology Area Manager.\nJob Summary\nAs a Process Engineer in our FluoroElastomers unit, you are the technical heartbeat of daily operations. You ensure safe, reliable, and efficient production while delivering improvements in quality, uptime, and cost. You split your time between the plant, control room, and data analysis - working closely with operators, maintenance, engineering, and site leadership.\nExpected Outcomes\nStable, safe, and high-quality production performance.\n\nImproved process capability, reliability, and product consistency.\n\nClear and well-documented technical recommendations for improvements.\n\nResponsibilities\nMonitor process performance, troubleshoot abnormalities, and lead root-cause analysis.\n\nLead or support Process Safety Management activities including PHA, MOC, PSSR, and Mechanical Integrity.\n\nIdentify and implement improvements in safety, quality, capacity, and cost.\n\nProvide process input to capital projects from front-end engineering through commissioning.\n\nDesign and run plant trials, improve operating procedures, and update technical documentation.\n\nSupport emissions reduction, energy efficiency, and environmental performance initiatives.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nMSc in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.\n\n>5 years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing technology, or reliability.\n\nAt least 3 yrs experience working in a manufacturing plant as a process engineer or equivalent.\n\nStrong analytical skills and ability to solve complex process problems.\n\nFluent in English; Dutch is a plus (willingness to learn is sufficient).\n\nHands-on mindset and ability to work effectively with operators, maintenance, and engineers.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in elastomers, monomers, reliability, or data analytics.\n\nExperience running plant trials and supporting capital projects.\n\nWorking knowledge of DCS batch logic systems\n\nExperience with polymerization technologies\n\nFamiliarity with continuous improvement, Lean, or Six Sigma methodologies.\n\nStrong communication and stakeholder-alignment skills.\n\nDon’t meet every single requirement?\nStudies have shown that some people are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification.
