This position will be available at the Corpus Christi Site at Gregory, TX and report directly to the Corpus Christi Engineering Manager.\nThe Project Manager supports the business for end-to-end capital project implementation and project results that achieve business objectives, while complying with standard work practices as defined by the Chemours Project System. The Project Manager works with management, technology, maintenance, and operations to bring maximum value to the business through effective leadership of cost and capital project planning and implementation process.\nThe responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:\nTranslating business objectives into the capital project objectives.\nIs accountable to the business for project success including project cost and investment ensuring all noncapital alternatives to meet the business objectives have been evaluated.\nHas in-depth knowledge in Project Management and basic knowledge of related Capital Engineering disciplines\nClearly sets overall Project Team direction and expectations\nIs responsible through the Project Team members for acquiring and releasing project resources as needed during the life of the project.\nDevelops and maintains project estimates and schedules\nManages overall project expenditures and schedule to meet business expectations.\nProvides primary interface between the Project Team and the Business Unit Steering Team.\n Drives capital project work processes and practices as described in the company’s procedures\nLeads all gatekeeping reviews and ensures all Front-end (FEL) deliverables are met including preparing all project-funding documents.\nEnsures commissioning and turnover plans and operations and maintenance procedures relative to the project are prepared.\nCollaborate with Construction Leaders, to facilitate the overall process and address design issues that impede construction performance.\nThe following isrequiredfor this role:\nBS degree or higher in an engineering discipline.\n10+ years of engineering project management experience\nSelf-managing, proactive\nStrong verbal and written communications skills\nThe following ispreferredfor this role:\nExperience in an industrial setting.\nExperience working in the chemicals industry\nExperience working in a Phase-Gate Project Process\nExperience applying Lean methodologies to maintenance processes and supporting the implementation of business systems\nBenefits:\nCompetitive Compensation\nComprehensive Benefits Packages\n401(k) Match\nTuition Reimbursement\nLearning and Development Opportunities\nStrong Inclusion and Diversity\nCompany-paid Volunteer Day\nWe’re a different kind of chemistry company because we see our people as our biggest assets.
