This highly visible role is a key contributor within both the Operations and Quality organizations and reports directly to the Global Analytical Quality Manager.\nAs a Quality Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that customer expectations, manufacturing performance, and quality system requirements are fully aligned. Serving as the primary liaison between Operations, Technology, Supply Chain, Customers, and Suppliers, you will lead efforts to resolve quality issues, investigate customer complaints, improve manufacturing performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.\nThe successful candidate will be a proactive problem solver who thrives in a manufacturing environment, possesses strong technical and analytical skills, and has the ability to influence cross-functional teams to achieve sustainable quality improvements. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on product quality, customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and business performance.\nThe responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:\nServe as a quality leader and subject matter expert, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 requirements and established quality management systems.\nPartner with Operations, Technology, and Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment between the Voice of the Process and the Voice of the Customer.\nLead investigations into customer complaints, nonconforming products, process deviations, and quality-related incidents.\nConduct root cause analyses using structured problem-solving methodologies and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.\nPrepare and manage customer responses, including 8D reports, corrective action documentation, and quality performance communications.\nDocument Customer Quality Service Issues (CQSI) and maintain accurate records within Salesforce and other business systems.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality, manufacturing yield, process capability, and reduction of the cost of poor quality.\nMonitor plant quality performance through SAP, LIMS, IP.21, production logs, and other data sources to identify trends and drive improvements.\nEnsure appropriate disposition and management of non-standard and nonconforming materials.\nEvaluate supplier performance and participate in supplier qualification, development, and improvement activities.\nLead and support Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs) and supplier performance improvement programs.\nPlan, conduct, and support internal quality audits to verify compliance with ISO 9001 and site quality procedures.\nDevelop and deliver training programs, procedures, work instructions, and quality communications for operations and technical personnel.\nRepresent the site during customer and supplier visits and facilitate technical discussions related to quality performance and improvement opportunities.\nCollaborate with manufacturing, engineering, analytical, and commercial teams to implement sustainable solutions that improve customer satisfaction and business results.\nChampion a culture of quality, accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence throughout the organization.\nThe following isrequired for this role:\nBachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Quality, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline\nIn lieu of a Bachelor's Degree, a High School Diploma/GSD with 15+ years of fluoropolymer manufacturing experience may be considered.\nMinimum of five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing, quality, process engineering, or technical environment.\nDemonstrated experience leading Root Cause Failure Analysis and corrective action investigations.\nWorking knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 requirements and quality management system principles.\nStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.\nAbility to effectively influence stakeholders and work across multiple functions and organizational levels.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications and manufacturing information systems.\nThe following ispreferred for this role:\nCertified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), or similar quality certification.\nGreen Belt certification or the ability to obtain certification within six months of hire.\nExperience with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or Operational Excellence methodologies.\nKnowledge of SAP, LIMS, IP.21, Salesforce, and statistical process control tools.\nExperience interacting directly with customers and suppliers in a manufacturing environment.\nAudit experience, including internal, supplier, or ISO quality system audits.\nExperience in chemical, polymer, fluoroproducts, or highly regulated manufacturing industries.\nBenefits:\nCompetitive Compensation\nComprehensive Benefits Packages\n401(k) Match\nEmployee Stock Purchase Program\nTuition Reimbursement\nCommuter Benefits\nLearning and Development Opportunities\nStrong Inclusion and Diversity Initiatives\nCompany-paid Volunteer Day\nWe’re a different kind of chemistry company because we see our people as our biggest assets.
