This position will be available at our Delisle, MS location\nThe Regional Buyer is the primary procurement execution partner for assigned operating sites and serves as the “voice of the customer” within the Procurement organization. This role manages day-to-day purchasing execution, coordinates with suppliers, and supports category strategies to ensure continuity of supply, commercial compliance, and timely sourcing support for site and category stakeholders.\nThe responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:\nSupport site procurement strategies aligned with business and category objectives.\n\nExecute sourcing events, including RFQs/RFPs, supplier selection,\n\ncontract implementation, and procurement documentation.\n\nDrive cost savings, TCO initiatives, and working capital improvements through strategic sourcing.\n\nPartner with Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, and Planning teams to support procurement needs and ensure material availability.\n\nManage supplier relationships, onboarding, performance, and compliance with procurement policies.\n\nMonitor supplier performance, identify supply risks, and escalate commercial issues as needed.\n\nAnalyze spend data to identify sourcing opportunities and support procurement decision-making.\n\nContribute to procurement transformation initiatives focused on strategic sourcing and continuous improvement.\n\nKey Competencies\nProcurement & Strategic Sourcing: Experience with RFQs/RFPs, contract negotiations, category management, and supplier selection.\n\nSupplier Management: Build supplier partnerships, monitor performance, resolve issues, and mitigate supply risks.\n\nNegotiation: Drive cost savings while balancing quality, service, and delivery.\n\nOperational Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing operations and critical material needs.\n\nSupply Chain & Systems: Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (SAP preferred), forecasting, inventory planning, and replenishment.\n\nAnalytical Skills: Leverage spend analysis, TCO principles, and data to identify savings opportunities.\n\nCompliance & Risk: Ensure adherence to procurement policies, contracts, and regulatory requirements while managing supplier risk.\n\nCommunication & Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships across functions, communicate effectively, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.\n\nProblem Solving & Agility: Respond quickly to supply disruptions and implement practical, business-focused solutions.\n\nThe following isrequired for this role:\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration (or 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree)\n\n3 plus years of experience in procurement, supply chain, operations, or a related commercial role supporting manufacturing or operations\n\nExperience supporting multiple sites or regional operations\n\nExperience in working with category management, contract administration, and supplier performance management\n\nDemonstrated experience working in an manufacturing environment\n\nProficiency with personal computers and the MS Office Suite (including Power BI); advanced Excel skills preferred\n\nBenefits:\nCompetitive Compensation\nComprehensive Benefits Packages\n401(k) Match\nEmployee Stock Purchase Program\nTuition Reimbursement\nCommuter Benefits\nLearning and Development Opportunities\nStrong Inclusion and Diversity Initiatives\nCompany-paid Volunteer Day\nWe’re a different kind of chemistry company because we see our people as our biggest assets.
