Performsimprovement audits at plant sites in both a leadership and a support capacity. Identify gaps in a site’s work practices and helps define the business value for improvements. Develop strategies, program proposals, improvement programs and control plans to close the gaps and deliver business improvement and help the site implement. Obtain program funding as required to support developed programs. Perform technical consulting in various offerings such as root cause failure analysis, reliability centered maintenance, uptime/UPbase, and system preventative maintenance. Interacts with other consultants, plant and business personnel, suppliers, and contractors to accomplish business improvements.\nJob Description\n\nProactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues to improve effectiveness of the manufacturing facilities.\nImplement and Provide engineering support for small and large cost and capital projects.\nSupport the performance and improvement of the control distribution system and rotating equipment\nDevelop preventive and predictive programs\nParticipate in project teams and all activities\nConduct field assessments and audits\nLead and implement all Chemours standard/policy\nProvide technical expertise to communicate/work with other internal and external engineers.\nProvide technical guidance and review for control procedures, programs and safe work practices.\nProvide engineering support and expertise for Process Safety Management (PSM) through participation in Process Hazard Analysis (PHAs) and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSRs).\nProvide engineering assistance to maintenance and operations including troubleshooting, evaluation of equipment failures, and technical recommendations for repairs and upgrades, and ownership of improvements.\nDevelop knowledge in area specific equipment to become subject matter experts for the review and preparation of maintenance inspection & work procedures and skills development/training.\nPrepare and audit scopes of work, estimates, schedules, and equipment specifications.\nReview preventive maintenance plans to ensure optimum process and frequency of performance\nEvaluate vendor proposals and designs and exercise effective judgment around functionality, cost, and timing.\nPreliminary hazards analysis: Preliminary hazards analysis is the initial identification of potential dangers or failures in a production process or system.\nFailure modes and effects analysis: Failure modes and effects analysis involves listing the ways a system or piece of equipment can fail and the consequences that would follow.\nCriticality analysis: Criticality analysis determines how serious the consequences of an asset's failure would be for a company's production systems.\nMaintainability information: Maintainability information details how efficiently and reliably a company can repair a piece of equipment.\nFault tree analysis: Fault tree analysis explores a system failure by studying the preceding, smaller-scale events that contributed to it.\nEvent tree analysis: Event tree analysis studies the probable outcomes that would result from a specific event or failure occurring.\nJob Requirements\n\nMinimum of a BS degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electrical Engineering or related field of study\nUS Visa\nEnglish proficiency\nTítulo profesional y cedula\nMinimum 2-5 years of similar work experience\nStrong values on safety awareness and execution\nDemonstrated work experience in plant, instrument system design, maintenance, and operation.\nRotating equipment experience\nPrior experience working with field personnel in maintenance and troubleshooting activities\nDemonstrated work experience in plant, condition-based, predictive and preventive maintenance\nExcellent organizational competencies including strong oral and written communication skills\nProven ability to manage short duration deadlines, emergency situations and multiple priorities \nAt Chemours, you will find sustainability in our vision, our business and your future.
