This position will be located at an APM Manufacturing Site and report directly to the Manufacturing Excellence Leader.\nThe Leveraged Reliability Engineer is responsible for driving enterprise-wide reliability, asset performance, and maintenance excellence across multiple sites. This role establishes and standardizes reliability strategies, leverages data and digital tools, and eliminates systemic failures to improve safety, uptime, and total lifecycle cost.\nThe position partners closely with operations, maintenance, engineering, and IT/OT teams to implement best practices, enhance predictive capabilities, and build organizational competency in reliability-centered maintenance.\nThe responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:\nEnterprise Reliability Strategy & Standards\nDevelop and maintain business reliability standards aligned with RCM, PM, and PdM frameworks\n\nStandardize reliability methodologies and best practices across all facilities\n\nEstablish asset criticality frameworks and governance models\n\nEnsure consistent application of reliability processes enterprise-wide\n\nPerformance Improvement & Failure Elimination\nIdentify systemic failure patterns across multiple sites\n\nLead enterprise-level root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues\n\nDevelop and execute reliability improvement roadmaps\n\nBenchmark performance and replicate best practices across locations\n\nMaintenance & Reliability Optimization\nStandardize preventive and predictive maintenance strategies across asset classes\n\nImprove maintenance effectiveness using data-driven insights\n\nSupport and guide implementation of reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) programs\n\nLead maintenance optimization initiatives (MRO, planning, and scheduling improvements)\n\nData, Analytics & Digital Enablement\nDevelop dashboards and analytics for enterprise asset performance (MTBF, MTTR, availability)\n\nDrive adoption of predictive maintenance technologies and condition monitoring tools\n\nPartner with IT/OT teams to improve data quality, integration, and system utilization\n\nEnable data-driven decision-making across sites\n\nCapability Building & Collaboration\nTrain and mentor site reliability engineers and maintenance teams\n\nBuild enterprise reliability competencies and communities of practice\n\nFoster a culture of continuous improvement and defect elimination\n\nCollaborate across functions to align reliability strategy with business priorities\n\nThe following is required for this role:\nBachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or related field)\n\n7-10+ years of experience in reliability engineering, maintenance, or asset performance in industrial/manufacturing environments\n\nDemonstrated experience implementing reliability programs across multiple sites or at enterprise scale\n\nStrong expertise in reliability methodologies (RCM, FMEA, RCA)\n\nExperience with preventive and predictive maintenance strategies\n\nProficiency with CMMS/EAM systems (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo)\n\nStrong analytical skills with experience using reliability metrics (MTBF, MTTR, asset availability)\n\nExperience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI or similar)\n\nProven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without direct authority\n\nStrong communication, collaboration, and change management skills\n\nThe following is preferred for this role:\nAdvanced reliability expertise (e.g., Weibull analysis, reliability modeling)\n\nExperience with predictive/condition monitoring technologies (vibration, thermography, oil analysis, etc.)\n\nFamiliarity with AI-driven or digital/Industry 4.0 maintenance solutions\n\nExperience in large, complex, multi-site industrial organizations (e.g., chemicals, oil & gas, heavy manufacturing)\n\nExposure to capital planning and asset lifecycle cost optimization\n\nKnowledge of IT/OT integration and data governance practices\n\nLean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred)\n\nExperience developing enterprise KPI frameworks and governance models\n\nDemonstrated success in coaching, mentoring, and building high-performing teams\n\nBenefits:\nCompetitive Compensation\nComprehensive Benefits Packages\n401(k) Match\nEmployee Stock Purchase Program\nTuition Reimbursement\nCommuter Benefits\nLearning and Development Opportunities\nStrong Inclusion and Diversity Initiatives\nCompany-paid Volunteer Day\nWe’re a different kind of chemistry company because we see our people as our biggest assets.
