The Manufacturing Engineer monitors the overall production process, develops and implements corrective actions to improve product or process quality. To accomplish this, the Manufacturing Engineer continually works on products in the production area to strengthen knowledge and identify weaknesses in the product or process. The position requires an ability to work productively individually or as part of a group. Essential Functions\nSustaining production processes\nSupport production to achieve on time shipment (OTS) and revenue goals\nManagement of non-conforming parts (NCMR) and implementation of corrective actions\nImplementing of EC (Engineering Changes)\nParticipate / lead in NPI (New Product Introduction) projects\nParticipating / lead in improvement projects\nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications\nEducational/Experience Requirements:\nB.S in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent.\nMinimum 4 years current experience preferred, in Mechanical and automation assembly designs, including Manufacturing Engineering background using DFMA/DFx process for design and fabrication.\nStrong background in Manufacturing Engineering metrology background and product transition into operations preferred.\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nProactive work attitude\nWork independently, strong team player, detail oriented, organized, and hands-on\nExperience with ERP systems on Material Master, BOMs, Routings, Documents. Experience with SAP is a plus\nExperience in low volume high mix environment is a plus\nBasic computer skills\nMechanical and Electrical troubleshooting skills\nAdvanced level reading, writing, speaking, and understanding of technical English language with fluent communication and presentation skills\nStrong self-management and drive to get things done\nMust be able to lift ~20 kg.\nWilling to travel on short notice for an extended period of time is a plus.\nBruker is an equal-opportunity employer.
