We are looking for a talented engineer to join our BNSM Taiwan application team to introduce and establish X-ray metrology technology for the semiconductor industry.\nResponsibilities\nAs a Senior/Application Engineer, Auto AFM (AAFM), you are required to perform the following responsibilities but not limited to:\nProvides technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation and maintenance of company products. \nAssists customers with assessing potential applications of company products to meet process metrology needs and preparing detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer applications/solutions. \nMay build an application based on customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility of the application, often requiring rapid prototyping and/or product demo for client. \nMay provide follow-up support to company sales staff and customer personnel by disseminating technical information on specific applications. \nWorks on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.\nDevelop a strong understanding of competitive technologies and AAFM product.\nHelps to maintain and increase AAFM product usage.\nCreate, develop, and continuously improve the customer support & applications knowledge database.\nQualifications\nTo be successful for this position, you will possess the following:\nQualifications:\nRequires Ph.D. in Material Science, Physics, Chemistry, or EE with AAFM experience and preferably have experience in the semiconductor fabrication industry, or equivalent experience.\nPh.D. level degree with at least 2~3 years of experience in relevant fields.\nGood knowledge in statistics and data analysis. Experience and enthusiasm in semiconductor AAFM metrology preferred.\nFluent in English and experience in technical writing.\nDemonstrated oral & written communications and interpersonal relationship skills, particularly intercultural skills, strong customer orientation.\nAbility to work and be creative under pressure and with tight deadlines.\nSelf-organized and self-disciplined. Ability to work alone and within a team environment to solve problems.
